This was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. The food is good but just small bites. This leaves you energy and attention for the show which is so ridiculously fun you won't want any distraction. You order drinks separately and their cost is billed separately. That bill will come with tip already added on. They have cocktails, wine, and sangria. Be ready to clap and fall in love with the flamenco troop. They are too wonderful for words. Don't hesitate to reserve a spot up front and be mesmerized.
A very pleasant weekday experience! Nice music and fabulous dance, a very solid and amazing performance. The food is good enough not the point of this show, right? and the service is really attentive. We enjoyed our Friday night experience here, and will come back again they change the program, musics, dancers every week!
This review will be in two parts and hopefully help you with some recommendations I have. Part one. We have been to Tablao Flamenco twice, once for the matinee and just recently for the dinner performance. My honest recommendation is to stick with a matinee. The food that we had for dinner was entirely disappointing. The service we had at the dinner show was terrible, our server Cole seemed irritable, rushed, uninterested and inattentive. Bottom line he was cold and rude at times. The meal itself was not great at all, in fact it was inedible literally, the main course was a pork skewer that was so overcooked I think I broke a tooth trying to chew it. The appetizer was one single item the size of a quarter and the salad looked like they stole it from a Pizza Hut buffet. Do not expect to be wowed by any of the cocktails as they are overpriced and served in toddler glasses filled with ice. For such a vast variety of breweries locally here in Albuquerque they only have Dos Equis and some other horrible beer that I don't remember the name of on tap. I have attached a picture of what my margarita looked like served from the bar, literally served half full in a tiny glass. For the price of the dinner tickets it is not worth it. I normally take the time and effort to photograph on both the cuisine and drinks. In this case it was so underwhelming I did not think that the food deserved any photographs. I will say that the matinee show had a far better dining experience. Light tapas and good appetizers. Unfortunately the drink menu is the same. Part two. The Flamenco show is incredible! Let me repeat that.. absolutely incredible performance! Mesmerizing in every way and extremely talented performers. It is an experience that you definitely do not want to miss. From the moment they step on stage they captivate the audience and I would go back any day of the week to see that performance over and over again. The venue itself is beautiful and the hotel grounds are stunning, if they could fix their food issues this would be a win all the way around. Knowing the good and the bad just don't set yourself up to be disappointed with the utterly horrible dining experience that comes with the dinner performance.
Fun show with very dedicated dancers 1.5 hours with break Beverages available at bar. Went to the Sunday matinee which did not include a dinner as we heard the food was mediocre. Right across the street from the Sawmill Market which is a great dining option Very hard to get info about this show ,and the phone listed is not in service
It was the best experience me and my wife had for our anniversary
It was as if we were whisked to Spain! The restaurant offers cozy atmosphere, Tapas and the Sangria drinks in addition to the amazing performances that were wonderful. All the seats had a good view, though I admit I would have liked a closer table just so I could see the footwork. The dancers, the guitar player and the singer were so talented. The restaurant opens at 6:45 and the performance didn’t start until 8 pm so you have plenty of time to order and visit with your party before showtime. We ordered a meat and cheese tray with a small bread loaf, a trio of hummus and nuts and a pitcher of Rose Sangria for our party of four. At 8, the lights go down and the show begins. They have a great wine collection and a full service bar for anyone who wants something more. I can’t wait to return!
The show was awesome!!! If you haven't seen it please do if you have go again. Very talented artists.
