The vegan chorizo tacos were just ok. The cabbage was bland so you really need to order guac and dress it up with likes and salsa. The vegan pinto beans and rice were incredible!! I wish I would’ve just got 2 servings of that instead of the tacos! Solid 4/5 stars. Cool ambience and queer friendly. Dietary restrictions: Vegan options
It’s giving authentic Mexican environment and vibes. The handmade tortilla really hits and the owner was kind enough to be super aware of my dairy and egg allergies for this breakfast taco. First time here but will be back. They had a free coffee to go with my taco!Food: 5/5
While the restaurant itself is cute and very unique the price point for the food has a left a lot to be desired. The fresh tortillas are a really cool touch but the meat is blandish and very dry. Salsa didn’t help much in terms of flavor. Five dollars for a single taco is a lot especially without any sides. Also the way the limes are cut are really ineffective and makes a big mess.
Was the only one in there, took awhile for them to make. I ordered 3 tacos no drinks no sides total came to $17.75 with tip and I'm still hungry. Got the tiniest piece of lime and one slice of radish. Also, when I ordered carnitas tacos the cashier said they didn't have carnitas ...just pork. The flavor was okay but not worth the price imo.
Handmade tortillas, great flavors. Local establishments - what’s not to like? This place reminds me of what makes portland great. It’s nothing fancy but it’s everything great. Food is great. Outside seating is cool. Portland small business vibe for the win. Tons of character and won’t make you bankrupt. 3 taco plate, healthy beans and nice rice $16 $14 veggie They also have margaritas and beer but I cannot comment on that. Staff are very friendly!
Not far from our Airbnb, it was a great place to stop by after a day of city exploration. We hope to be back.Food: 5/5
Honestly the tacos are terrible, meat was chewy and insipid. The salsas are at the most mediocre. Nice people serving !Food: 1/5
Gave them a second try, however came to find the food is still bland and dry. The prices are high for such tiny portions. It’s hard to stress enough how small the portions were. The container of pico that comes with the chips for the fish tacos was tiny. The pico itself was mushy and without identifiable onion of jalapeños.The chicken was just completely plain and dry. Beans are just plain. On the plus side it’s basically all child friendly flavors and child sized portions so…bring your kids?
Let me start by saying that this is a unique little taco joint. Happy Hour is a great way to introduce yourself to Taco Pedaler. High quality tacos and margaritas are where it’s at at this tiny neighborhood restaurant. My absolute favorite though, is their breakfast burrito , which is only served on the weekends. Homemade salsas with a dose of hippy vibes. Highly recommended.
Good staple Mexican food. I will be back. I walked in hungry and left satisfied. The rice was fully cooked but not mushy. The beans were not whole and not refined. They were slightly mashed. Not sure if they were fresh or canned. The cabbage was fresh. The salsa would as a bit tangy ... lime.. lemon? #allergy girl took it off just in case. Kids burrito was perfect for a child. Not too big not too small. The street tacos were a hit. As you can see they were eaten faster than I could raise my camera.
