We were having some quesadillas with my brother and couple of beers and drinks. To be honest, this place is not crazy expensive but it is overpriced. Also tables are sticky, and who puts a garbage bin in the dining area? I feel this place needs to be cleaned up better. There are flies flying around and bothering you while you eat. I did not order a lot of food, because I already had two slices of pizza before. Also there is a hostess stand and it looked like someone has vomited on it before and it was not cleaned properly. So value wise it was not worth my money. For 35 dollars I could have gotten a good burrito and couple of beers in Chipotle and I would be more than satisfied. And no, I would not go there again.
The tacos were good across the board, and the shrimp taco stood out for me. The service was very distracted even though there were more waiters than customers early on a weekday. The ambience is hard to pin down. I like it, but it feels strange. It's like a mix of a hospital, someone's house, and it looks unfinished.
We went to Tacombi and tried both of the collab Michelin star tacos from CDMX. We had visited the original store back in April and were interested to try it here. The beef and pork both required more seasoning and the tortillas could have been fresher. Overall though really cool experience to join together with the location in Mexico. We also tried a bunch of other tacos that were delicious such as the fish and the birria. Would recommend adding more salsa and lots of lime to each.
I usually order delivery from this restaurant, but I decided to come over since I was around this neighborhood. To my surprise, this place is very cute and the people here are so nice and friendly! Food is even better than delivery because it’s hotter and juicier. My favorite tacos are seared fish and sear shrimp, especially the shrimp, oh, yummy!
I throughly enjoyed the food here! Mexican is my favorite cuisine, and this hit the spot! The pineapple juice was so refreshing. While the chicken quesadilla was packed with flavor!Food: 5/5
Terrible service. Ordered two Kalifa De Leon specials, server only gave us one. The meat was unseasoned. Got the other for take out, had to remind them about the take out order since they forgot twice. I had to bag it up myself, and they refused to give me sauce. I also tipped 18%. Never again. Los tacos 1, and Birrialanda are way better, faster, and more economical. ***And there was a piece of foil on my overpriced chuleta taco SMFH
Went before going to the S.I.R concert at Brooklyn paramount. Needed to get a quick bite to eat. The birria tacos were amazing. My sister and friend loved the fish tacos, and raved about the sauce that came with it. The decore and atmosphere was top tier. As every table inside had these cute little coat, hat and pocketbook hangers. We can’t wait to go back and actually dine in.
Tacombi is a hit or miss. I have had the shrimp and fish tacos and to be honest it’s inconsistent. Sometimes it can be good other times it’s just ok. I hate inconsistency, stay consistent. It is always busy but don’t let it fool you. Inconsistency!!!!Food: 4/5
First off, the food was spectacular. Their drinks are on point and the host was super kind and super attentive. We came later in the night and the host let us know when the bar would close and when the kitchen was closing so that we wouldnt miss anything. This place made us indecisive because everything was so good and we didnt want to explod. Love the vibe here and definitely coming back.
Has outdoor seating! Food is yummy, especially the sweet potato tacos but the portions are rather small so order accordingly.Food: 5/5
