Tacos el Chicken

I love this truck. The birria consomme is better than Birrialandia in Williamsburg, in my honest opinion. The burritos are the right size and the tacos are flavorful and generously portioned. There are plenty of brick and mortar Mexican places in the neighborhood, but none compare to Tacos el Chicken.

If you are from Cali or the southwest, this IS your truck to go to. Sonoran style. Amazingly marinated and charred meats with grilled peppers and onions, lime etc. I had 3 tacos, carnitas, chorizo, and birria. All outstanding. The sopes were excellent too although i would have loved crema included. they tasted like a flour masa mix. I will be back!

The vegetarian tacos are absolutely fire. Avocado, delicious beans, rice, and the works. 3 for $10

Unsure why this is advertised as opened until 11am. Its 4am and nobody's here. Both phone numbers go straight to voicemail prior to driving here. Wasted my gas and precious time...

I ordered pork tacos. They were good. I had beef burrito. And 2 chicken quesadilla. I came home gave them to my kids and they refused to eat it. There's soggy lettuce in there. I have never had a quesadilla with lettuce. I called and tried speaking to the guy and asked him can I return and and he can do it over without lettuce. It's 10:45 pm and he said no. Then he said yes. So I asked if I can come tomorrow he said ok. Then he calls me back and said no he cannot make it over tomorrow. It has to be tonight. I explained I have my daughter who needs to be up at 6am for school so i cannot come tonight. He said sorry lady. Also their prices are off it does not match the price on the truck . I paid $35.00 for everything and it was a waste

Decent enough stop for good tacos, though not in the best hood…

I used to come here a lot before the pandemic and they were really good then. but now I feel like they're trying too hard with their burritos and some of their other dishes and it's not as good as it used to be. but you can't beat the prices though for sure.

We go here all the time for delicious vegetarian burritos. The kids love this place. Don't have to wait on long lines. Foods always delicious we've been going to this trick for a few years now

Dependable daily food truck with lots of choices. I call ahead and they got it ready.

Well my local Mexican restaurant just lost a customer for good. This place got some mean tacos. I love their barbacoa if I spell it correctly. If not, it was delicious. At first I was opposed to their $3 to $4 taco because the restaurant is charging $2.5 each. Well one day about a year ago, I try it because I was lazy to walk the other direction and wait 30 minutes for taco at the Mexican restaurant. This truck gets your order ready in 10 minutes max. Usually around 5 minutes. There are pro and cons eating here. Pros. They are delicious and fresh everyday because everyone orders here. I felt bad for the Muslim community around the corner. Taco here is double shelves and the filling is a lot. They pack you tacos with meat and fish. My favorite will be tilapia and steam goat. I would order beef once in a while. Beside tacos, they serve various burritos and other dishes I am too afraid to venture out on. Maybe one day I would but the tacos will do the job for now. Cons. They should serve in paper container. Not sure if that more sustainable to the environment but definitely better than what they using now. Also you don't have to put every order in a plastic bag. One taco won't last that long to make it home. Sauce is a problem. They don't give much and sometime totally forgot to. I forgave you thou. Over all. These people works hard. I seem them here around 11 am to get parking and last til 10 or later at night. I am sure they were up much earlier to get my taco ready.
