This is a small food truck right on the El's Tire Services property on Rt 40. They have a few picnic tables outside so you can eat there or to go. Service was excellent. I was taken care of right away, and my food was in my hands in a reasonable amount of time. I ordered a coke to drink. It was cold and refreshing. I ordered Torta Hawaiana: Ham with pineapple, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, & beans. $10 I normally go with milenesa de pollo, but they were out on this day. No big deal. This was a really solid torta...the ham was fried up perfectly with cheese melted all up in it. The torta was heavy and loaded with meat. Everything worked really well with this flavor combo. The bread even had a little crisp on the inside, which I love. It was well worth the $10 price point, and I'll def be back around for another. I ordered tacos choosing lengua, pastor, chorizo, and carnitas. Lengua...ok, a little on the dry side of town. The double tortillas were middle of the road and help aid in drying out the tacos. I moved to 1 tortilla for the rest of the tacos. Pastor...ok, not really a fan of this one, and again on the dry side. Chorizo..ok, no char, had a cinnamon flavor in there that I don't prefer. Just not my cup of tea. Carnitas...I wasn't really a fan, the fat to meat blend wasn't to my liking, though it tasted like it would be good in a soup. I ordered 2 tamales: Chicken with green mild tomatillo sauce wrapped in cornmeal dough. $2. My first tamale was just masa, no chicken, but it still had a good flavor, moist. More on the salty side, not sweet at all. My second had the chicken, and it was excellent. The chicken and the tomatillo sauce married together perfectly. I'd def eat the chicken tamales again, not so much for the masa tamales.
First time eating beef tongue ! Also has the marinated beef tacos. Definitely would return. 4 stars for the exterminator spraying while we where there sitting and the food was being made. I would still go back food was authentic.
Great tacos, get there early for the tamales. Loaded with flavor and lots of options. This little taco truck is one of my favorites. So much flavor, worth a visit
Who knew that a trailer on the side of the road would have such an exhaustive menu and really good food. I ordered for my husband and friends and they loved the been tacos and tamales. Will definitely go back.
Food is delicious and fresh. A hidden secret on route 40 but highly recommended. Their tacos are awesome and we’ll worth the few minute wait so they can make them fresh!Food: 5/5
One of the best Mexican restaurants I have ever been to. The food is prepared fresh, and the flavors will make you mad at every other Mexican restaurant you've been to before. Kid-friendliness: They have a kid menu.
Great food inexpensive. It's a little gem only a few feet from a busy tire place. You could do both tires and lunch don't be put off by the location it's worth itRecommended dishes1 Fish Taco & 1 Shrimp Taco
Second time of enjoying their food. Tamales, tacos and burritos. All were excellent. Only fifteen minutes from time of placing order over phone, to driving there and picking up 22 different items of food. Everyone was friendly and pleasant. Food was hot and delicious both times.Takeout: YesCurbside pickup: Yes
