Chris was wonderful to work with. He came up with a design that optimized the space in our master bedroom closet to give us the maximum amount of storage. The installation team was courteous and professional – they cleaned up after themselves and left the area spotless. We recently renovated a small condo in Portland, Maine. Chris and Tailored Living designed and installed our bedroom closet and bookcase in the living room. After our initial phone call, Chris promptly scheduled a consultation in the condo. During the consultation, he presented us with detailed 3-D design ideas based on our needs. His design incorporated our future potential changes of needs and made the system flexible to adapt to such changes. Chris kept us updated after we contracted them so we know exactly when the installation would take place. During the installation, they removed and donated our old closet system and repaired/repainted the holes. The finished project has made our condo clutter free. The design is consistent with the appearance of the rest of condo, and is beautiful. The cost of the project is absolutely reasonable and comparable to its major competitors. But as the original owner of the business, Chris demonstrated his genuine care for his clients, trustworthiness, and expertise. We enjoyed working with him and his staff. Chris met with me and helped me design a wonderful guest room/office including a Murphy Bed and desk/shelving. Chris was very professional, kind and organized. He followed up with me every step of the way. Matt and Bob built and installed the unit and it turned out exactly like the design. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. When they left my house, everything was clean as a whistle. Tailored Living provided exceptional customer service and design. I met Chris from TL at the Portland home show along with other closet organizers. It’s a bit of a gamble knowing who to choose. I’m so happy with my choice! Working with TL has been a great experience from design to execution. And although I initially hesitated on the price, it was all well worth it! The quality of the product was even greater than pictured in the colorful brochures and I was so excited to put my whole bedroom into one closet! I loved the closet experience from Tailored Living from beginning to end. Chris H is professional, kind and reliable. He initially came to take measurements and discuss requirements.
