Took my 10 year old daughter here for some daddy daughter time and we had a blast. The people were all very friendly and they treated kids great. I honestly thought to gift shop was pretty reasonable considering these types of places usually are not. We arrived early as suggested so we could walk around unfortunately the museum was closed but there was still a lot to look at and see. We enjoyed watching the knighting ceremonies that were taking place and their drink selection was good also. The entertainment part was a blast and it’s fun to cheer on your team and allies one thing I was not expecting was the quality of food I really thought it was outstanding and our service top notch. We will definitely be attending again. If your on the fence just do it you will have a great time. Show was a full 2 hours we were there an hour early for a total of 3 hours in the castle.
What a fun time! I'd never been to medieval times before and I didn't realize how much more it is than jousting. There is comedy, drama, action and adventure! They have horse exhibitions and they are amazing!! The staff was funny and attentive adding to the overall experience. The food was decent, the soup was good, but the chicken a little dry, although well flavored. They are limited with options because you eat with your hands which I didn't mind as it makes it more authentic. You're really paying for the experience here. The knights are fun and talented stunt men, it worth the price for something different!!
After many years wanting to go there, it finally happened... Paid for the queen's package and the total with taxes came out to $226 for 2 people, we arrived and got our tickets, paper crown and they took our photo. We proceeded to grab a drink... 2 beers with their glass came out to $48?! Way overpriced. Finally we go into the arena and get seated. You will find a bowl and plate at the table, no utensils. First we got served soup, you could right away taste the Campbell's tomato soup, then they brought a piece of garlic bread the dollar store kind following half a chicken a tiny piece of potato and corn...for dessert it was a cream filled nasty donut. Definitely not a meal worth the price paid, probably less than $10. As for the show, it's highly choreographed with many instances where they missed during the fights and just not very well done. Horses are beautiful, however I noticed some scars on the inside of the horses legs, probably from training them. I'm glad to have visited, but for the price and value probably will never go back. It's not worth getting the front row seats as they don't have good visibility of the arena. Parking: Plenty of parking
First time Medieval Times and must say it was a wonderful experience. The moment you enter the staff play their roles right up to the end. Very courteous and accommodating. The entire performance was great and even the horses can steal your heart with their dances. Food was simple yet delicious! The facilities were clean. This is not an every day show for a family but definitely worth the experience since it can run a pretty penny when ordering souvenirs and adult drinks. The staff work hard so tipping for their hard work is appreciated. I would recommend this for a one time experience for the family.
If I could give 6 stars for atmosphere I would do it. This place was absolutely amazing. The food was simple, but very well executed. Which is good because you're eating it with your hands! The show was more than entertaining and yelling was so cathartic. A great time with great food.Food: 5/5
We enjoyed our experience! Lots of action, excitement, and great characters. Loved the atmosphere. The food was very good too. The chicken we each received was large and flavorful! Soup and garlic toast were enjoyed. The corn and potato were also flavorful. A great experience! The only thing I would caution is that, you are bombarded with souvenirs the minute you enter to the very minute you leave. So, either bring a lot of money, or just be good at saying "no thank you". Kid-friendliness: Kids loved the food and experience.
I was super impressed by the performances with all the enthusiasm one can muster by all the performers and staff. One of the absolute best & funnest Father's Day dinner experience I've ever had. The staff kept their roles the entire night. The food was quite good and was also medieval themed. A great thanks to everyone from the queen to the bar wench. Highly recommend this place for a fun and memorable night the whole family can enjoy. Cheers!
Very cool place. Staff was very friendly and they are well organized for the seating process. Most of the staff are in character. The food was plentiful, hot, and tasty. The players have great costumes, the show is exciting and the horses were beautiful. I think it would be nice if there were more wandering players to engage while waiting to be seated. Maybe some gestures or other type of entertainers interacting with the crowd. And the drinks were a little bit pricey. But all in all, an excellent experience.
Very fun place. Good food, dessert was a little low budget but I was impressed with how much chicken you get. Staff love to be there and it's a great fun show. Beer is cheaper once you get a souvenir cup: $8-10 for 24oz. But the extra shot was $7 for peach schnapps - tastey addition though. Easy and quick service. Highly recommend.
The show was amazing and very interactive. I love how the knights give all their flowers and stuff to the little girls and made them feel like little princesses. The jousting and fighting was amazing.. very captivating. The food was amazing... out the roof delicious. Staff were spectacular! Our knight in our section took the time out to sign our banners and take pictures with us. Overall I give it a 10 plus rating! This place is definitely a place we will always come back to
