Tal Bagels

Love Tals! You have to get here early in the morning- the bagels are literally fresh out of the oven and the perfect texture of soft on the inside and crispy on the outside! I love the lox spread here. The employees are so sweet as well!

Very solid and reliable bagels. A little under toasted but very heavy on the cream cheese . Great spot.

This is your typical NYC bagel store. People sitting on the tables outside just watching the world go past, the inside looks a little tacky and of course a huge selection of bagels and fillings. We opted for the everything bagel which was covered in seeds of every sort and then stuffed to the brim with cream cheese. I wish I had the space to try a few more!

Significantly overcharged me for my bagel and cream cheese. Rip off. Employee was rude and unhelpful and unprofessional. Everything bagel barely has any toppings and bagel was hard and over toasted. Never coming back.

This place is ok. I ordered pastrami sandwich on toasted everything bagel. The bagel was decent but not great, hardly any seeds on it and the pastrami was served cold which I thought was a bit odd. The guy who made the sandwich also rang me up and made change with his gloves on and went back to the counter, which kinda turned me off.

This is not only a local Bagel store! The food is excellent, the service is even better! The owner is an amazing young man who knows everyone’s name!

As a foreigner I’m naive to NYC Bagels. however these tastes great & they’ve a big deli selection. Service is rushed but there’s a steady trickle of locals coming in with this NY accents. So not a tourist spot I’m sure. Abundance of seating but by default the staff serve you “to go”. So I ended up with an environmental catastrophe of disposable plastic at my table. C’mon New York! Stop destroying the Earth.

Absolutely crazy about the lox spread, but the bagel is I’d say good, but not great. Depends on what you’re looking for in a bagel, but the top half is a bit crispier than chewy than what I’d expect from an NYC bagel. Would definitely go back, but not always my first choice.
