Our first time here, and it was great! The Hamachi Kama was super flavorful and is enough to order as a light entree. The Uni was worth every penny. The Black Truffle Salmon was extremely unique and a total umami bomb ! We got the Fatty Tuna Sashimi and Philadelphia roll, and they were also spectacular. The service was great and the staff was super friendly. This place is definitely worth the price, and we will definitely be back to try some more of the menu. Great for a date night or a self care treat!
Not a great experience. AC wasn't working well. Cleanliness was lacking prob because they were super busy. The beef in my noodle dish was cheap. The ramen flavor wasn't bad though. Second time here. I'll go elsewhere for sushi and other asian food.Food: 2/5
Fabulous place to eat! The spicy ramen was so flavorful, only thing to make it better would be marinated eggs, would still order again. The avocado bomb was so good that I might go back and just eat that! The crepe cake desert was good and different, would probably go for mochi next time. Can't wait to check out the west side location!Food: 5/5
Best sushi and ramen in Albuquerque as well as amazing service! I recently ordered the avocado bomb and spicy ramen online and before I got there they cancelled the avocado bomb. When I went in I was going to order a different appetizer but before I could the owner made a point to see what was going on. The chefs said the previous night the avocados weren’t ripe enough but the owner checked all of them again and he let me know the chef will make it work. It came out absolutely amazing and I really appreciated the extra effort from both the chefs and the owner. Everyone is always so kind every time I come here and food is always spot on.
I went in thinking they couldn’t compete with my favorite sushi spot. I was wrong. Quality, fast, great service. Even the Miso was fabulous. A+Food: 5/5
Ordered the BTS roll and the chicken egg roll. They were absolutely delicious! The service was great. It's a small place so it was very quiet and the tables are very close together. Will be going back.Food: 5/5
I finally came here after years of seeing it and never quite making it in. It's really nice inside, with that perfect balance between casual and upscale. All the staff were nice and the restaurant was very clean. I ordered the Japanese Curry with Fried Pork Cutlet. It was fantastic. The absolute perfect plate of comfort. Mild brown gravy, VERY thin smashed and fried pork, and a salad with gingery sweet dressing. I have no notes, it was spot on. Interestingly, my cutlet seemed huge compared to other reviewers, maybe because it was smasher thinner which I really liked. Great mix of textures with the crispy pork, soft rice, and rich gravy. I've found another day-off comfort meal for sure! My family got sushi which they seemed to love, and we shared the vegetable tempora appetizer, which I really enjoyed. Don't miss this spot out!
Excellent service, knowledgeable and attentive staff. Gluten free menu page available. Items not marked. We asked lots of questions and the servers were very patient and double checked. The food was delicious! The fresh rolls were able to be made gluten free, we had the single sushi and salmon roll. Wasabi not gluten free. The food was prepared with care. They have gluten free soy sauce available
One of the top three sushi I places I have been to! And best in ABQ I’ve eaten at so far. Every dish is perfectly crafted and incredibly flavorful, while staff is friendly and welcoming. Back truffle salmon was absolutely phenomenal. Will absolutely be back!Food: 5/5
So good. Absolutely loved our lunch here. The environment was casual and comfortable. The music was upbeat and pleasant. The food looked and tasted great. Our favorites were the jalapeño bomb appetizer, hirame carpaccio chefs sashimi, and the blow pop roll. The sashimi was fresh and melted in your mouth. The banana fried ice cream was the prefect way to end the meal. 100% will come back. We're already planning what we're going to try the next time we come. I highly recommend you give Tamashi a try!
