Tandoori Kabab

We have been ordering appetizers from this place for last 7 years . But past few months food quality has been so poor !!!! The samosa for examples used to be crispy and tasty but now the size is going down it has become mini samosa . Over cooked , over fried and doesn’t taste good … the chicken kabab has that raw smell too . Very disappointing !!!!!! I have posted few pictures of the samosa I got yesterday and you can see the shape and the color texture of the samosa . We have stopped getting the kebabs. They need to improve on their food quality !!!!!

I visited December 27, 2023. This was the only non-fastfood place open after 10PM, so I was curious to try. I've been to almost every other Indian/Pakistani restaurant in the area, so it seemed fair to give this a chance, despite recent reviews not being so great. I ordered the Butter Chicken and Plain Naan for takeout 10-15min, totaling $15. Honestly, the price is really good; cheaper than most places, here. I was surprised the food proved the reviews wrong. - The butter chicken feels like a lot of curry. At least 2 portions for me, but I don't eat very large meals. It wasn't as oily as compared to Amma's. There is a little, but c'mon it's butter chicken. It was definitely rich and had a velvety texture while also being seasoned extremely well. There was even a little bit of slow heat from the kashmir pepper . So people who avoid spice, this may impact you as I'm very accustom to hotter seasoning. The Naan was a perfect compliment as it helped cut the richness. It's a large piece too, despite 1 piece per order. It was perfectly cooked, not burnt or anything even on the underside. The one downside for this price is they don't give complementary basmati rice. Plan for that if you eat in person, or make your own at home if getting takeout. Atmosphere.. I can't judge much since I only got takeout, but the front area seemed clean and well lit. Anyway, this is a great option for late night curry if other places are closed.

We went all the time there the service is poor but the food is good …. But today when we went there with our friends it was unexpected first we have to wait 45 min for our food then when the food come out it was all Burnt the keema naan was burn which was ok we ordered 2 lamb chops both burn we keep one but I ask the lady that the lamb chops was dry and burn can you please make us another one or cancel this one she said I’ll make another one and she gave me the same one in a to go box I mean what behavior is this .. we ask for tea they said the chef is busy so it take time we say it’s ok at the end she said he not gonna make it do we have to cancel it This time not worth it nothing so just don’t waste your time and money on burn food

It's okay, I'm used to halal carts in the city even the Halal Guys are much better in my opinion. I'm just saying that I've had much better tasting/priced/portioned halal food from halal carts on sidewalks. The service is great though the gentleman taking my order was great, his food is just kinda butt that's it .Food: 1/5

Pity. I've eaten here several times over the past year or so take-out and it was good the first couple of times. Unfortunately, my most recent visit, 12-14-23, we ordered take-out and the quantity was lacking. When I got home, I opened the containers to find that the portions had decreased in size. It's curious, because my previous visit was earlier this year and three of us got two meals out of our order. So, what happened? Are they getting cheap? I'll be looking elsewhere from now on.

Most of the food was decent.. the naan and samosa chat was outstanding. However for as many meals as we bought, no rice came with it?? I called back after picking up the order because I thought there had been a mistake but no- the man told me on the phone I had to purchase the rice separately. I have NEVER heard of any place serving this type of food with no rice in the meal. That’s not a meal. With the size of portions vs. price and no rice, I probably won’t come back unless I’m really craving samosa chat.

So was coming back from Long Beach, NJ to Philly. Around 10pm craving some Desi food, searched half way thru and found this gem open till 12am. Reviews looked unpromising. But boy was they all wrong. Ordered Chicken Tikka masala and naan all for $ 15. Asked the lady for one green chutney she ended up giving 4. So taste was excellent and naan was soft and big plus green chutney tasted good. Will be back again.

The girl on the reception was exceptional in customer services.. really appreciate her.. Environment is pretty good.. food is delicious and its a complete family spot Thank youFood: 5/5

Horrible experience. I have never had such bland stale food. All watery paya. There was no flavor. Nihari was total stale. No customer service. We were new we stood 5 mins on door so someone how it works. Then a man peeped out there is the menu see what u want to order. Then we said we can sit. But for that we had to wait for him to come. All would have been fine if food was good. Horrible food we ruined our morning. This picture is when we were done Couldnt finish. We visited recent on march 12 2022. Dont go for year old reviews. Such a shame. N seating everything is dirty. Try sanitizing yourself if u die to eat here and get bad service after paying high price.
