One of my favorite indian chinese place go to...the food was as always delicious and great. One must try out this place if One wants to get the real authentic indian chinese of Kolkata Tangra Masala. Service was quick and the staff are friendly
The service was good but the food is okay. Some of them are really good like the dumplings and spicy basil noodles. But, the thai tea was not that great. We also ordered veg manchurian and chicken tangra masala, those were okayish.
Steamed veggie dumplings are a must. Manchurian isn't v good though. Tangra rice were good. There are only 2 waiters the day I went they try to do their best to serve but expect some delays.
Came here with a friend during lunch time. We dined indoor and there was one other group dining. They take your temperature and one person need to write down their contact information for tracking. The food was delicious. The corn and hot & sour soup were surprisingly good. It's usually blah at a Chinese fast food place. The soup came with the lunch special which cost $10 or $11. I got the fish tangra masala which was deliciously spicy. The flavors and spices made the dish so good. Minus one star, because I didn't enjoy my lychee lassi. It was more salty from the yogurt than sweet. My friend's pineapple lassi was good, but I'll stick to mango going forward. Also the hakka bao broke apart so it was very messy to eat. I will definitely come back to try their other dishes.
Checked out the newly opened Tangra which they already have well known locations in Sunnyside & Grand Ave. The interior design looks amazing. It's a big elegant change from the other restaurants. I tried out their new foot long fries which is a new addition to the menu and it was superb. I got to say this restaurant has the same addicting flavor as their popular locations but what intrigues me is the new additions to the menu. Services was great and attentive. I definitely will stop by again when I'm back in the city!
100% halal food and it is delicious! What I love about it is the CLEAN restaurant and restroom. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. The piña colada, lollipop chicken and the haka wrap were delicious. The chicken curry and the veggie curry with the tangra masala were a bit salty for my taste. The paneer burger is a must!! If you are in the area you have to try it!!
Being an Indian in US, I always had a craving for indo-chinese food. This is just the right place to satisfy that quest. All the Tangra Masala dishes can be ordered spicy and are delicious for your taste buds. You can also get the Taj-Mahal beer here. The atmosphere is cozy and they play bollywood music to give it an Indian Vibe. Must try: Tangra Masala Noodles.
A perfect Chinese cuisine for those who are from india and looking for indo-Chinese food in nyc. A taste and quantity is good. They can also make jain food without onion, garlic and potatoes preparation if you ask for it. Must visit place.
Indo Chinese speciality and really liked the vegeterain dishes. Ordered manchoup soup which was good followed by tangra masala veg fried rice and paneer chilly with gravy. Both of the dishes were really good. Typical india taste. One of the best indo chinese restaurant in NY at a reasonable price and good ambience. Service was slow because they literally had 2 waiters serving 10 tables and more.
The food was good but not the best. Service was also slow and not good as expected. They also charge 18% tip with the bill.
