This is such a lovely Middle Eastern restaurant that has delicious food and good service. The prices can seem a tad high, but once you get the food you see why. They provide nice sizes portions and everything is fresh. The overall appearance including the bathroom is well maintained. The staff is friendly and attentive and the bartender can really whip up a great margarita. I highly recommend and I will most certainly be back!

The food and service here is simply excellent. The servers are polite, friendly and very attentive without being overbearing. The portion sizes are large, I wish I knew that ahead of time as I’d recommend ordering family style, or not going so hard with the appetisers. Despite the large portions there was no compromise on quality, the food was delicious, fresh and very reasonably priced for the amount you get. The outside seating area was perfect for dinner on a late summer night.

I liked the food. The winner was the crackers. The muhamarra pepper spread was however unexpectedly sweet. The mind pies were good, especially the cheese one. The fish kebbi was new to me and I enjoyed it. The service was attentive and friendly. The vibe is welcoming and relaxed. They charge extra for paying with a card.

Tanoreen is a really nice restaurant in Bay Ridge with really nice decor, friendly and safe staff, and a tasty menu. The price is a bit higher for the area, but not unfair given the food quality and portion sizes. Definitely better if you can go with friends and eat family-style .

To begin with, my husband was very ill at night after this dinner, he vomited all night! I don't know why this place is highly praised, but we were disappointed. Everything we ordered and there were 4 of us was too sour, it was impossible to eat. Please add less lemon or it was some kind of sour sauce! Too sour!!! They even tried to spoil the hummus! So people be careful, take care of your stomachs!

Whatever you’re doing right now, stop it and just come here. There’s no need to even read this review and the pictures don’t do it justice. The hardest thing about this place is trying to pick exactly what you want to order. I could have ordered anything on the menu and been extremely happy. They have an incredible set of ever changing daily specials. The food is simply top notch here and the hospitality is really special. You feel like you are having a true family meal here cooked with so many years and generations of traditions. I can’t wait to come back here. I was so excited to come here and am planning my next trip to Bay Ridge just for this. I’ll travel an hour each direction here any day of the week.

Tanoreen is a amazing restaurant in Bay Ridge with beautiful decor, and a very tasty menu. Took my mom here for her 50th birthday and she loved it! They provide good portion sizes. Highly recommend and I will definitely come back! 10/10 it was amazing I love that many of the food options are vegetarian/vegan friendly a large variety and selection!! The Eggplant Napoleon was really good. I recommend the cauliflower steak it’s huge! Also the chicken shawarma sliders were amazing!

Haven’t had the fetti at Tanoreen? You’re missing out. It’s one of those things you continue eating even after you’re full. Love the cauliflower steak. Delicious food! Went here on Valentine’s Day and it was so fun. The atmosphere is great, the service is incredible, and the food was out of this world.

Authentic and good Middle Eastern cuisine! Highly recommend the cabbage rolls entree! The tabouleh was a bit dry, fresh - but could have used more lemon-olive oil. Staff were kind and attentive!
