Excellent sushi spot, a little pricey. The restaurant is clean, everything we tried was really good, and they have happy hour every day from 5-7pm so that helped with the pricing. Highly recommend: wagyu tacos and yellowtail truffle roll. My only slight concern was the service. There were only 3 other parties in the restaurant, and the service was still kind of slow. The servers seemed like they were not sure who was attending our table.

Love Tanuki! Their food is delicious and they use the freshest authentic product. We enjoy their variety of sushi rolls and dim sum as well as the rest of their dishes. My favorite roll is the “Philadelphia” and Crispy Salmon but must try the rest. Great happy hour with deliscious bites and creative drinks. Must try the wagyuu tacos at the bar. Staff is very friendly always! We keep coming back and have never been disappointed.

Fresh and authentic tastes. Unlike any other sushi places that we visited. Delicate and absolutely delicious. And a great friendly service.

We went at the start of happy hour when it wasn't busy and sat at the bar. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We had a blast! I'm new to the area and have been disappointed time and again with the ramen, Chinese food, and Korean cuisine selections (or should I say, lack there of). Finally, this place did not disappoint! My seafood loving boyfriend enjoyed the sushi while I filled up on delicious dim sum and pork buns. The only draw back was the price, but I've been spoiled in the Pacific northwest with cheap eats and am still adjusting to the higher prices of South Beach.

Really good food & drink. The bartender and sushi chefs were very nice, personable and accommodating. Ask for Sai-chan, the manager, who is usually working at night. She is very nice and will help you with anything you need. As far as the food goes, you can't go wrong! Everything is delicious and prepared with great care. We have not been for brunch, but are hoping to go soon. My only wish is that is that we could afford to eat here every night!
