Soooo delicious Cool atmosphere, comfortable seating, friendly service, and shockingly affordable. Can't believe I missed eating here before. Will be back soon!!! Highly recommended
That is my absolute my favorite restaurants!!!. Lovely meal. Excellent dim sum. Exceptionally friendly and polite staff. All of the food was delicious and fresh. The sauces were just right. Thanks for a lovely evening. I think we have found our new favorite Chinese restaurant!!!
We had an amazing dinner at Tao Haus. All of the staff are so friendly, and the food is delicious! They make all their food items msg free which is awesome because it's much healthier. Our favorite items were the dim sum platter and the soup dumplings! We will definitely be back.
As I walked in the restaurant I was immediately greeted with amazing red colors and beautiful looking people. I picked up my food and I proceeded to bring my food home assuming it was going to be delicious. I branch it home to my brother who has been paralyzed from the neck down for the past 4 years. I left it on his lap and he throw it on the floor.
fresh, cooked to order, delicious, more expensive than usual Chinese type food but worth it for sure. Great for take out and casually dining in.Food: 5/5
Upon arriving to Tao Haus, you walk in to a cool, modern lounge area with couches, a sneaker display and more. Everything is very modern and new. Looks like the perfect spot to grab some food or a bubble tea while you work remotely, listen to some beats or catch up with friends. The other side of the restaurant is filled with tables, which is where I sat for dinner. The tables are sleek and the whole restaurant has a modern feel to it. We started dinner off with an assortment of dim sum. My mom loved the shrimp shiu mai and I was a fan of their chicken and ginger dumpling. We ordered all the dim sum steamed. The chicken and ginger were very tasty and not overpowering with ginger flavor. We also got an order of the superior soup dumplings. They are truly superior! The pork is cooked for over 12 hours creating an extremely tender and flavorful experience and they are filled with broth. We then had the salt and pepper fried calamari for an additional appetizer. The calamari batter was closer to a beer batter, which is on the thicker side, and very crispy. This dish is the opposite of flavor-less. The salt and pepper flavors were strong, and the dish was served with fried garlic which brought additional textures and flavor to the app. For our entrees we had pork in black pepper sauce, chicken in tao haus sauce and noodles with satay sauce and fish. All of the meat we were served was very clean – no fat or grizzle. I was very impressed with the quality of all the meats. The vegetables in each dish were julienned and looked very uniform, adding to the texture of the dish. My favorite was the chicken in tao haus sauce. I need it again! The noodle dishes are unique because you can make your own – pick a noodle, a sauce and a protein. I would definitely go back and I would love to try a bubble tea! I see they also had affordable lunch specials each day of the week. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Excellent service. Dumplings on Tuesday were $1 each. I usually get a noodle dish. They make it spicy upon request. Cute decor and good location.
customer service is excellent, though we were the only dine in customers there .. food was just mediocre and ok! certainly edible, but not something so tasty I'd crave and want to come back for. If the price was right we would for the convenience since we're locals, but for nearly double the price for something that doesn't taste authentic, prob not. Rather drive 15 min down the highway to Fort Lee for better tasting and better priced soup dumplings. We also had the dim sum platter and satay noodles. Again, mediocre taste for a high price and small portions.
Totally unique but all the stuff you LOVE to eat! Clean, fresh really delicious food. Awesome staff. It's like Asian comfort food fusion with fresh prawn chips that are one of my favorites and the best I have had. Closter needed this restaurant and I'm so happy it's here!
Great food. Staff friendly. Love the decor.Met owner a few times- he is really nice and wants to make sure you enjoy your food. My fav is the soup dumplings.
