Story

Located on the corner of 4th and Broadway in downtown Oklahoma City, TAP experiences the heart of the city on a daily basis. With the continued development of downtown and the progressive city culture, TAP exists in an exciting environment of growth, which gives them constant encouragement to better the architecture in city and state in which we live.

Design Approach

Creativity stems from one’s passion. TAP Architecture’s passion is to be pro-actively engaged in community-based design. We are committed to creating positive change in our community through design. Inspiration, engagement, and collaboration are tools that we use in our efforts “to design with a purpose”.

Understanding, imagination, context, and stewardship are the cornerstones of TAP Architecture’s design philosophy.

It is imperative that we understand our client’s needs, desires, and dreams. A design can be successful only if the architect listens carefully to the owner and acquires a thorough understanding of the project program. All stakeholders must be engaged in the design process. Representatives from the Client are key team members in TAP Architecture’s collaborative design process.

TAP, like all competent architectural firms, presents our clients with design solutions that serve their needs programmatically and functionally. But more importantly, TAP provides design solutions that support your mission, vision, and values, inspire imagination, and express your identity and culture.


For design to be meaningful, it must be contextual: influenced by regional character and the landscape. Scale, proportion, form, color, texture, and rhythm all serve to root a building comfortably in its surroundings.
