Stephen Horst created Tap Into Your Artistry (TIYA) out of his own innate passion for stories, the mystery and joy of the human voice, and his love of singing, acting, and songwriting. TIYA embraces a Zen like spirit with an athletic mentality.

Through Vocal Training, performers of all styles and levels learn about the intricacies of their instrument and develop a relaxed, released resonance. The path starts with Coordination, then Registration, and finally, Intonation. Performing artists unleash and discover their own, original, authentic, vocal timbre.

Through Show-biz Consultations, aspiring professionals create strategies on how to realize their goals. It may not always happen the way one expects, but with patience, persistence, faith, courage, love, and dedication to their craft, plus mentored, sharp business skills – anything is possible.

Through ACTing Coaching Stephen will guide you to tap into your imagination exploring theatrical monologues/sides, TV/Film scenes, and how to ACT (admit, connect, trust) the song/scene.

Through Explore Songwriting Stephen will help take your songs to the next level. You will write stronger melodies, sense-filled lyrics, and use concise song structures which stick to one theme.
