Really lovely tapas bar with plenty of seating. We sat outdoors it was a gorgeous evening. We got a pitcher of sangria which was delicious, you could not taste the alcohol but it was certainly there - also extremely reasonably priced. For tapas we got a bunch of different things upon the recommendation of our server. The patatas bravas were excellent. The blistered shishito peppers were slightly under-flavored. I think for the most part I would describe the food as good not great, nothing wowed me but everything was decent. I really just enjoyed the ambience of the place - and it was really well priced for a tapas spot in a city. Would certainly recommend it!
Right next door to The Charles theater make your way down tonthis tasty place! Great food and drink selections. Pretty quaint atmosphere, great for a relaxing evening.Food: 5/5
Tapas is delicious!!! I feel like this is one of Baltimore’s hidden gems. There are so many options, and I’ve come multiple times and have never disliked any of them! Great date spot. Can’t wait to come back!
One of my all-time favorites! Spanish tapas, fantastic wine and cocktails. Sit outside when the weather is nice and watch the world go by. Easy, affordable parking in the lot or garage across the street or at meters all around the Charles, Lanvale and Lafayette. BONUS: you can take your drink into The Charles Theatre connected to the restaurant when you go to the movies! This place has been around forever, but it's never boring – and it's run by the lovely Karzai family who also run the AMAZING Afghan restaurant just south on Charles, The Helmand.
Cool little tapas style restaurant serving Spanish plates. Very dimly lit so makes perfect for date night. The food was okay. We only liked half of what we got. The best one is definitely the octopus. Really love the potato and tomatoes accompanying it. Don’t think I’d revisit tho.
Tapas Teatro is a compact café with plenty of punch. They provide an excellent range of affordable small dishes for the appetite of almost anyone - they even have vegetarian options. These light savory bites accompany crisp Spanish wines. With tons of outdoor dining, we decided to use one of our New York Amtrak train tickets just in time for dinner. Who knew Baltimore could offer Michelin-style food right beside their Penn Station. The service was highly attentive and accessible. If you are in the city or on a port of call, this place is a must-visit.
The croquettes are out of this world. It’s always my go to. Service is beyond good. Love coming to this place. I always eat here before a movie at the Charles or a show at Metro Gallery.
A very pleasant experience. We enjoyed a meal before the movie we were going to and then had dessert after it. The staff were genuinely pleased to serve, there is a wide ranging menu. The items we had were delicious, a chicken dish being our least favourite. The flan for dessert was tasty, the bread pudding was gorgeous. Parking: Easy parking across the street, $3 for the evening.
I visited Sunday about a week ago around 5. I was greeted quickly and had my choice of table. The Saffron cocktail with Spanish Brandy was delicious! I ordered 5 types of tapas. They were all delicious. Eggplant, scallops, shrimp, lamb meatballs and the deviled eggs. It's intimate and charming and I highly recommend it! Thank you for a lovely Sunday!
Great place for small-group of friends or date night! Can't go wrong with the tapas and the sangria is a must! The only thing is that it doesn't accept reservation; however, I never had to wait long.
