Found this place and really enjoyed their brunch menu! The portions are huge!!! They also offer frozen mimosas and have a nice small selection of delicious coffee. Will be back to try their regular menu.Food: 5/5
I couldn’t decide what to get here everything looked so good! I went with the bananas foster waffle and I did not regret it. They came with a caramel sauce. My wife got the breakfast with two eggs, sausage, hash browns, bread, and gravy. The bread and gravy was too much for her, but I wish we’d have taken that gravy to-go home with us! I was happy with my choice of bananas foster. I loved the caramel sauce the waffles were served with, too. I only wish there had been more bananas. I also ordered the chai and it was so good I drank it most of it before my food was served. I especially loved the giant coffee cup it was served in. They also had TVs on and a cute Instagrammable wall. We saw two different large tables of seniors — one talking about art, the other playing games. There were additional reserved tables, too. We were all served by Natalie who was just the sweetest. I also really loved how this place had a drive-thru. I’m not on this side of town often, but I’ll definitely be back here the next time I am!
This place is really top notch. The food was better than expected, and the coffee was fresh and made right. The staff was very courteous and attentive. Another big plus for me is that this place is right off of the Newcastle Trail, so it was super easy to bike here. I didn’t see a bike rack, but I just parked it on the patio where I sat. I can definitely see myself biking here for lunch on nice days.
First time to visit this eatery but definitely not my last. OMG was the food delicious. Went there to celebrate a personal milestone. The recommendation was made by Serena since she has been there before. It has been talked about on a group FB Mom's & Ladies of Southwest Houston. I can understand why it is so well talked about. Everything is made from scratch the flavor of my burger exploded in my mouth I learned I had taste buds I was not aware I had. The portions are huge and the service was fast, friendly and efficient. The place was very relaxed and comfortable. A great overall experience in food and ambiance. I had the Chili Mac & Cheese Burger on Wheat and Serena had the Mac & Cheese bowl with fried Chicken. These pictures do it little justice. You must go there and try it everything is just mouth watering. Parking: Strip is small but not very busy at 3:00 pm plenty of parking available with additional parking in the back. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair accessible with additional sitting in the store front and a small back patio. Restrooms a large and easy to maneuver in a wheelchair.
French Toast is amazing! Comes with large chunks of banana. Definitely recommend adding chicken, as it's great with the cobbler-style sauce. Coffee is not very strong. The latte tasted like hot milk, and the iced coffee was very watery, so add an espresso shot or two to whatever you think is enough. I think if you add shots it'll be good. Overall prep was great. If I can make a suggestion to owner, use cubed ice for iced coffee instead of crushed, it melts much slower.
Great customer service! The staff we encountered were friendly and welcoming. It was our first time and we enjoyed the chilaquiles, omelette and a chai Latte. Loved that they have brunch as an option everyday!
A couple of mornings ago, we were in the area and found this place by Googling breakfast restaurants. Great atmosphere with very friendly staff. The young guy I did not ask his namewas very sweet, gave us great service, and was helpful in suggesting menu items for breakfast and brought us the lunch menu to look over for a future visit. The food we ordered was tasteful and plentiful...big portions, coffee was of good quality, and the glass of orange juice was delicious. Needless to say, we had leftovers. Oh, they also have a drive-thru for coffee. Will definitely return, when in the area again.
Great find! This unassuming spot serves amazing food and coffee. The owner is a friendly person who instantly made us feel at home. The staff is on point, and the experience is relaxed. The food is insanely yummy, my friend said it was the best burger he had ever eaten. Definitely recommend this one!
Four of us ate at Tapesters. It seemed from the reviews that we should try the chicken fried steak. Big mistake. It is difficult to find the meat. When you do it is so thin it is pathetic. The outer crust had a very good flavor, but was fried so hard it had to be cut with a knife, then it would shatter. The salads were excellent. Very crisp, fresh and the ingredients evenly distrust distributed. Very good. You may want to try the onion rings as they are excellent. This restaurant is spotless. I hold a high value for clean, and this one more than meets clean. 5 stars. I wish I had tried something else on the menu, but it was chicken fry day in Texas. The employees are friendly and accommodating. A great plus.
Found this place online and decided to give it a try. Family members had the grilled chicken sandwich and the fried chicken sandwich, and really enjoyed them. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger. It may be the best burger I’ve had in Houston. It was perfectly cooked, the perfectly toasted bun was delicious, all in all a perfect burger. Clean and very nice workers. We will go back. Highly recommended.
