My pops took me to this place years ago and I went a couple more times after that. Good hood spot. I recently went and I had been craving a burrito. It was bomb af!! I got an asada burrito. Also got 2 pastor tacos. Tacos were kinda messy but good. But my burro was on point! Check em out!!Food: 4/5
Food was good, service is excellent. Horchata wasn't authentic and taco specials are Wednesdays only, not Tuesdays.
Classic "hole in the wall" kitchen with a home kitchen-sized area to eat. AND the best tacos in the city and I've tried a bunch. I get the tripas, lengua and chorizo. Always fresh. Always to-go. Salsas are good too. Red spread over their rice? Mmmmm! I'd love to try the whole menu but stuck on these. Enjoy.
Tacos are small but good. RUBY CASHIER IS GREAT REALLY NICE AND FRIENDLY BUT THE OTHER YOUNG CASHIER GIRL IS RUDE ON THE PHONE AND IN PERSON. SHE HAS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL. WHEN SHE TAKES THE PHONE ORDER AND YOU ARE DONE SAYING YOUR NAME SHE HUNGS UP!
Great flavors, good cozy atmosphere and the service there is so nice and homely they make you feel like a regular and are always treating you kindly. The food all taste home cooked great prices. Saturdays they have menudo and homemade tortillas I totally recommend it
The service was fast and polite. The tacos are cheap but that also reflects on the quality of the food. The meat was bland; I had 2 Asada 2 Tripa and 2 Lengua. I’m not sure I know Tripa can be a tricky meat it will always vary from place to place but I’ve never had it so slimy before; I’m not sure if it was undercooked or something but it was mixed with a few crunch pieces which made me question the fact it being cooked right or not, the lengua and asada were both very bland almost identical in taste and texture; all the tacos were kinda greasy and the onions weren’t diced almost lazily cut. The sauce was spicy but lacked any type of flavor; almost like super spicy tomato paste. I wouldn’t come back; it seems like someone just doesn’t take pride in their food; just their pocket.
The food very good, everything is so tasty thank you my friends "good food " Features: They follow the covid 19 restrictions.
Food is really good. Cashier the girl who takes the orders is very rude the way she talks to the people. That needs to be fixed or she will make customers not want to come again, like myself.
Good quality fresh ingredients. Asada tortas are great tasting. So are the Asada quesadillas . Salsa is flavorful. Fast services. Poor attitude from cashier.
Great little hidden gem. Looks like a spot you’d find in Tijuana. Authentic, home made Mexican food. Great quality of meat, the Carne Asada Torta and tacos were amazing. Definitely give this spot a try. I’ve been to many Mexican restaurants in this area and nothing was really that good, for the price. But Taqueria Tamazula is definitely what I’ve been looking for in terms of taste and price range.
