This roadside stop in Ellsworth, Maine, is the perfect alternative when taking a break from seafood. Jamaican classics are made to order, with Jamaican imported drinks to quench thirst or the heat of the spicy menu choices. Good value, family run, check it out!

Love this place! Awesome food and a fun selection of Jamaican drinks, they do serve some beers. There is outdoor seating, no indoor, better suited for takeout. Do stop by and try them out.

People make the mistake of driving past this place far too often, I'm so glad this little business popped up within the last few years! Authentic and delicious, I would recommend anything on the menu! Everything is around 10 dollars at this take out style shack(which may seem pricey or cheap depending who you are). There's no indoor seating here, but in nicer weather you can sit outside on the picnic benches. There are often only one or two people working in this tiny restaurant, but it's only a few minutes of waiting before you get delicious Jamaican food! Lots of meat options, and a really good "irei ital" vegan option! You also can choose from some interesting Jamaican sodas, as well as some more familiar options. Only place in the area that does good fried plantains! The cook/server is super nice, and it's great to see a business like this is east coast Maine! Worth every penny.

Absolutely delicious! We had the jerk pork. (I don't even eat pork 😊, but they were out of the chicken and I was so looking forward to some great jerk flavor- and loved it!) Great spice, super nice service. We've been visiting for a week and needed a change from the lobster pounds. Boy did we find a great change! Our only regret is that we didn't find it sooner because tonight's our last night here! Thanks again for a great end to a wonderful vaycay!
