Tavern On The Avenue

Nice place! We sat on the patio, enjoyed drinks and appetizers. The apps were hot and delicious and the service was good. Menu items are priced reasonably. I have been here back in the day when it was "Spankys" I believe Great memories, similar setup! Great neighborhood bar! We'll be back.

Great good specials and always good food. Thursday burger night with tots is my favorite night. Also their nachos are really good. Friendly staff. Fast service from my experience. Whenever I’m close by, I try to stop in.

Sunday Special Hot Chicago Beef is the best.

One of the best hole in the wall bars in St. Paul. Good crew of regulars, great bartenders and staff. The food is really good bar food. I recommend the A1 burger or the rice bowl which was a pleasant surprise. A little out of the way but a fun late night spot in a secluded little neighborhood.

Nice little local bar. Looks like they are remodeling. I like that it was not super busy during my last visit. Was only there for a quick beer. Service was fast and bartenders seemed friendly

An excellent "oh yeah, okay then" fun filled American tavern. Staff is great and facilities are clean. Pool tables are well kept and time spent here is in great mirth!
