ABOUT
Dr. Tawadros has been a practicing oral surgeon in the North Atlanta area for more than 17 years. Highly regarded by both dentists and patients, his reputation is based on his well-rounded knowledge, solid experience, technical proficiency, and excellent rapport with those for whom he cares.
Dr. Tawadros has received a B.S. in Pharmacy from Purdue University, his M.D. from Hahnemann University School of Medicine, and his D.D.S from Indiana University School of Dentistry. After receiving his D.D.S, Dr. Tawadros did his postgraduate training in a General Practice Residency at University Medical Center in Indianapolis. He followed that with a Junior Fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Emory University School of Dentistry in Atlanta. His Residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery was performed at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. Dr. Tawadros achieved Certification in General Surgery from Georgia Baptist Medical Center of Atlanta.
Dr. Tawadros is an American Board certified Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon. A Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon is one who has graduated from an accredited dental school, completed a residency program approved by the American Dental Association, passed rigorous examinations to qualify as a Diplomat, maintained a high level of skill and knowledge through continuing education, and been licensed in the state in which he/she practices.
Dr. Tawadros's practice specializes in the following areas:
- Simple and surgical extractions, including that of impacted teeth, such as
Wisdom teeth.
- Treated or oral inflammation/abscesses
- Treatment of oral lesions
- Treatment of maxillofacial fractures
- Dental implants
- Administering local and general anesthesia
- Suturing of wounds





PATIENT INFORMATION
Safety: We are in compliance with all OSHA and CSC infection control and sterilization requirements.
Appointments: It is recommended that you call to schedule an appointment at least 1 week prior to the desired date of treatment.
Scheduling: we schedule procedures requiring general anesthesia for the morning hours and those requiring local anesthesia for the afternoon. If this is inconvenient for you, please let us know so that we may find a more suitable appointment time.
Emergencies: We do our best to work you into the schedule for a true emergency.
Cancellations: Kindly give us at least 48 hours notice if you cannot keep your appointment so that we are able to give you your time slot to someone in need.
Lateness: Please be on time for you appointment. Call us if you are running behind schedule.
Payment: We accept all major credit cards, personal checks; with ID, and cash. Payment for your portion of the bill is expected on the day of service.
Insurance: Dr. Tawadros is a participating provider on numerous insurance/managed care plans. Please call our office before your first visit with the information necessary for us to verify eligibility and benefits. We file insurance for you as a courtesy to our patients.
Financing: Should you need financial assistance, ask us about financing plans through American General Finance Company.
X-Rays: Please bring all x-rays given to you by your referring dentist. If none have been given or you forgot to bring them, we will have to take x-rays at an additional charge.

Take I-75N to I-575N to Exit 4, Bells Ferry Road.
Turn left at exit. Follow Bells Ferry Rd. for about 2 miles.

From Woodstock:
Take Hwy. 92 to Bells Ferry Rd.
Turn left onto Bells Ferry Road. Go about 1 mile.
The office is a 2 story, red brick building on the right side of the road, just past Heritage Presbyterian Church.

From Towne Lake:
Take Bells Ferry Road to Hwy. 92.
Cross over Hwy. 92 and go straight for about 1 mile.

From Acworth:
Take Hwy. 41 or Wade Green Road to Hwy. 92 to Bells Ferry Road.
