An oasis of boat and boat trailer knowledge in the middle of the desert. Holy cow these people know their stuff. I purchased a 14,000lbs keel boat on a triple axle trailer in Santa Fe. Bearings and hydraulic brakes were shot. This was the closest marine store. They knew I was 100s of miles from home and bent over backward to order parts, improvise parts and get me the best deal in a short amount of time. They are wise and good teachers. One day, running out of time, they met me before opening hours with the ordered parts all ready to go... and even had an envelope with a slight refund when the shipping charges were less than expected. Holy cow. When do you get that service now a days? Great shop. Great people. Thank you.
I had an outboard that wasn't pumping cooling water. The folks at Taylor Marine figured out my problem without seeing the motor, ordered the part s I needed and gave advice on installation. It ran perfect after that. They also let me post a for sale ad in their store and referred a guy to me who bought the motor. They are the nicest, most knowledgeable people you will ever meet in this business. Only wish they were still in the boat business. Have bought other parts here and these gals go out of their way to make sure you get the right part. You will feel like a valued customer even if you are only spending a few bucks.
Yes there is a Boating store here in Albuquerque; Taylor Marine. I needed some parts, the owner was there and she helped me even though they were closed! The parts fit, and were correct. My boat motor runs great now, thanks. Don’t order from the internet, unless you don’t have a choice. We need these small, knowledgeable businesses to survive.
I stopped by Taylor marine for the first time. Desiring a piece of marine plywood I was able to buy a half sheet, which is just what I needed. By the time I left the store I had everything I needed to make my sailboat repair including step by step instructions on how to make the needed repair. The staff is very knowledgable and helpful. Taylor Marine is a bright oasis in the New Mexican desert.
Taylor Marine is owned and staffed by people that all about doing what they do best; repairing large recreational boats with complicated inboard engines and stern drives. Most of these watercraft are expensive ski boats and family criusers with large engines and multiple onboard electric power systems. Taylor Marine employs only highly skilled and experienced mechanics and repairs can be quite expensive but when the job is done the boat is once again functional and ready to back into the water. Taylor Marine's loyal customer's base demands quality parts and repairs that stay repaired and this marine repair business seems to always have a two month delay to fit you into their work schedule and that says just about everything.
Great service have known the owners and employees for years. Have all the knowledge and experience to get the work done with precision
These people know their business! They carry quality parts and you can't put a price on the knowledge of marine equipment! Thank you!
Great service. Very knowledgeable on all aspects of boat service. I highly recommend them.
Best folks ever! They take great care of this female boat owner!
Very helpful and friendly. Took the time to explain what we needed and why. A++ or 5*.
