Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe

My colleague and I were split on traditional baklava vs baklava cheesecake. I listened to the person working there and chose the cheesecake. We both agreed that it was the better choice for dessert. Quality greek cuisine for an affordable price.

I love this location. Their food and customer service is always top notch when I dine here. I wish other locations could use them as a model. Always courteous, accommodating, and going above and beyond. I will start intentionally driving the distance for this one.

I ordered a salad to go for pickup at 1:15. I placed the order at 10:35 in the morning and got a confirmation email. I go to pick up my order and it was not ready when I got there at 1:20. They had not even printed my order outseemed to be lost and said it would be ready in 2 minutes. Two other people that I noticed came in to order after me and received their food before me. I still had not received my order at almost 1:40. I could not wait any longer, so I asked them to cancel the order and have not received a refund.

I swore this place off back around 2013. My last visit was takeout after a previous day of light ice on the roadways. I think the store was understaffed when I came to takeout register to pickup the food and pay. The woman that helped me was EXTREMELY rude. while the transaction was being processed I saw a photo on the wall of a large family and the woman in that picture was the woman that was handling my order. It must be the owners. I live in the area and gladly pass this location on the way to Cahaba heights for Mediterranean food from Pita stop. no way they get my business EVER.

Fantastic food. Fantastic staff. My family loves the turkey melts are back. Good restaurant for family and groups as they have a few larger tables. Check it out.

Used to be good, now they're just phoning it in. Chicken was undercooked and didn't realize it til it was too late. Up all night with food poisoning.

on my online order i chose no feta in my soup and on my salad and i added gluten and dairy allergy to my list of allergens. there was feta in my soup!! and i couldn't tell until after i started eating. im only sensitive to gluten and dairy but what if i was severely allergic to these??

This was first time here and unfortunately under-cooked chicken is the reason I will not return. The rice & salad was delicious, but the pink center & raw texture of the Grilled Chicken Kabob was poor.

I've been eating at Taziki's for years. First visit to this location. Service was prompt and friendly. Order was correct. I got the Greek salad with grilled lamb. Greens were fresh and the lamb was awesome, as usual. I don't know what spices they use on the lamb but it's the best lamb I've ever had. Juicy, flavorful, and delicious. I'll be back.

I stopped in and ordered the salmon feast since I was in the area and was highly disappointed. The fish tasted super fishy, I couldn't stomach it. Not sure what that was about. I frequent the other location on Hwy 31 in Vestavia as a well as the one on Hoover and have never been disappointed nor had anything like this occurr.
