My kids love going to Team Taino. All of the coaches live what they teach and are amazing role models. My kids are physically and emotionally stronger since joining and have a level of confidence I wish I had as a child. The atmosphere is welcoming, fun...and they have a cute puppy.
The Best! Simply the best MMA school in the area with caring, extremely talented & experienced instructors. Eddy is GREAT with our daughter. Staff is wonderful too. Training there goes from tiny kids all the way up to professional MMA fighters.
Incredible group of teachers and community. The best place around, hands down!!! My son loves it so much he attends double sessions.
My girls love this mma school. They offer a variety of martial arts training. The coaches are excellent !!! Coach Eddy, Coach Taylor and Coach Yasmine are wonderful and work so well with the children. They provide right amount of discipline, encouragement, support, caring and fun . This school is far superior to another popular school my girls have previously attended, by far. The other students are so supportive and just absolutely wonderful kids. We couldn't be happier with this school. Very Fair pricing. Well worth every penny.
I have two kids 8 and 11 that have been training at Team Taino for approximately 18 months. Eddy Torres, the owner; is an incredible instructor. He has devoted his life to training and it shows. He treats his student like his own children. My kids have benefited in countless ways so far and it keeps getting better. I highly recommend this gym if you are looking into MMA.
Not your typical kids martial arts studio. Eddy and Taylor instill discipline and respect and demand hard work. My kids have thrived from their techniques and have become stronger more confident children. Team Taino is more of a community than an MMA gym. There is a range of ages in the kids classes and the older kids are always supportive of the younger and new students. They also have a little kids class for 3-6 year olds. My son has been doing this class for over a year and the transformation in his discipline and focus is amazing. My daughter has gone from being shy to outgoing and aggressive. Can't say enough good things about Team Taino and the coaches!
Our son started here when he was 3 and has been with them for over a year. The confidence and discipline he's gained along with his absolute love of his coaches and fellow children has been amazing to watch. The amount of things he's learned from them is astronomical. He's always greeted with a big hug when he runs to Coach Eddy, Coach Taylor, or Coach Yasmeen. Coach Taylor is one of his favorite people in the world and he talks about her all the time. The patience she has with the small children is admirable. They are professional with how they run their business but they also treat you like family. I never would have thought a four year old would know how to put his mother in a guillotine or be able to sweep my legs out from underneath of me but he sure can and so much more. My husband and I could not be happier that we chose them to teach our son.
My Daughter and i have been a part of the Team Taino family for about 6 months now, I say family because that's exactly what it feels like and how everyone treats eachother here. All the parents and kids are so friendly and get along great, Coach Eddy treats the kids as if they are his own when it comes to discipline. Encouragment, Support and love. Coach Taylor has a special gift with the younger children and Coach Yasmeen and Coach Rich are just overall awesome at what they do and delivering instruction. I originally decided to sign my daughter up because she was getting bullied in school and I felt she needed to be taught how to defend herself and it was one of the best decisions I could ever make for her because with everything she's learned in the last few months is enough skills she will carry with her the rest of her life to be able to defend herself in any situation and the amount of self confidence and happiness she's gained is like night and day. Definitely worth every penny! We love team Taino!
Look at the reviews - nothing but 5 stars. That tells you all you need to know. For kids, this place is amazing. They teach the kids real skills for self defense and discipline, and kids only progress when they're ready and able. For adults, it's an amazing workout. You really feel like family here, I'm so happy I found Team Taino and Coach Eddy.
The team at Team Taino led by coach Eddy is a fantastic martial arts gym and they provide high level and fun instruction for adults and kids of all ages. Kids learn a lot of discipline and build extreme confidence. Highly recommended.
