*Someone who is a Recruiter, that works there sent me a well written email asking for a partnership because they were looking for System Administrators in the area. *I sent the individual in question my Resume, we had a couple conversations over the phone. *There was no real job description or anything that was convincing that there were any actual System Admin jobs for me. *The person I spoke with, said she was going to get back to me on a couple roles, then requested my references. I opted not to give her my references since there were no jobs on the table and I am currently employed. *The Recruiter said she was going to send over a job description and get back to me. She then ghosted me. *Leaving 1 star for wasting my time and for the ghosting. Its discurteous and not a very nice way to treat people. I get it, we all get busy but if you are a Recruiter and you ghost people please remember that one day you will be looking for a job too.
I’m new to Las Vegas I worked with Teksystems in New York I always had work not a lot of issues for me but I look forward to getting back into the field of low voltage doing security systems or telecom hopefully Teksystems has some work for me
The amount of bs they provide is unreal. Had to take tests for interviews that never came back and if I was lucky to get a call back from the recruiter it was never at the agreed upon time. They contacted me to begin with and then just stopped responding.
At first everything was fine, but then they started asking my references technical questions, and told me to get another reference, im still a beginner in the IT field with a AA, I understand they want references in the same field but this is 2017, most people don't stay in the same career field as you and they move on to something else. Last teksystems office gave me a great rating but the company i worked with told them i did a horrible job when the manager who was over me got fired so there is no proof I even did bad, what does a army vet with a degree have to do to get a job around here?
I had a great time meeting with my recruiters at TEKsystems. They really work hard to care for their candidates and they go the extra mile by "courting" the candidates they place by taking them to lunch each week to make sure the new job/transition is going smoothly and to answer any questions or concerns you are comfortable.
Worst recruiters in Las Vegas. Definitely the bottom of the bottom. They lie to you, never call you back, and I felt in my situation I was even singled out for no apparent reason. Would not recommend using them to anyone that needs a job or is looking for IT/computer work. They are NOT well respected in the IT community in Las Vegas nor by many IT business in Las Vegas. I have heard this from several companies and I am well connected to the IT industry here in Vegas. Hopefully they can get back on track and get back to to being professional and treating people with respect not treating people with disrespect.
They take your resume and references knowing the opportunity is filled already or they are not moving forward with you. Should have listened to the reviews!
Good people not enough work and to much paper work have to repeat for each job
Great place, good mission.
