Great place for social services and access to resources for anyone who may be struggling. I came here to get a food box and was pleasantly surprised and grateful although the man who gave me my box sadly gave a look of disgust and dismissal behind my back. Apparently, he was unaware that the other fellow in line was my boyfriend who witnessed the entire incident and informed me of what had happened. I am saddened and embarrassed by what this worker did. I hope if he ever has the unfortunate events in his life take place like I did he will be treat with respect and dignity and become aware that it isn't easy to ask for help and that he doesn't need to make it harder for the souls who come for help. Besides this sad lack of compassion by just one employee the services and fellow employees are wonderful. Remember to take your ID and a piece of mail with your Tempe address so you can access services. The surrounding city's have there own programs and resources, this place is just for mainly Tempe residents.

Would be nice to have a option on phone to talk to a person. Handicapped and need to ask questions but no human to talk to just leave message and they did not call back

This place is an asset to this community. It can assist you 1x/yr with a utility bill and 1x/yr for a rental or mortage payment. This agency covers Tempe and Foutain Hills residents. Calls are accepted on the 1st Friday of the month for rental or mortgage assistance at 8am. Help is limited. Utility assistance calls are accepted every Thurs. @ 8am. This help is also limited. The food pantry is open m-f and the hours are varied. Food boxes are available 2x/month. There are a few other programs for assistance,
