This was my favorite club until 01-22-2022– If you’re trans, gender fluid, non-binary, etc. you are not welcome here. I was kicked out of the club at 11:57pm because I looked too feminine to use the men’s bathroom. They grabbed me when I came out of the stall, wouldn’t let me wash my hands and then kicked me out in 20 degree weather without my coat! These three guards belittled me and made me uncomfortable while I waited for one of my friends to get my coat. By standers, my other friends and even others who worked there tried to come to my defense by these men were on a power trip. They threatened to kick my friends out who were questioning their sign about this being a safe space and asking for management. They demanded the other staff not talk to me and go back inside and proceeded to threaten to call the cops on me while I waited for my ride once I had gotten my coat. They refused to give me their names and laughed at me while I was crying, shaking from how cold it was. I sent @Temple_Denver a message on Instagram and Kevin the General Manager offered me any show on them and a $100 bar tab. When I responded with my concerns and suggestions he did not reply. So I sadly do not feel safe returning and I will be letting everyone know about this. Take that sign down, it’s obvious you don’t care.
The place looks mega cool. The music was amazing but the drinks were mediocre at best. Went for a silent party where they provided headphones that didn’t work well. While there was an actual party going on with really good music, they were playing old school rnb in the headphones that did not match the vibe at all. Wasn’t a silent party by any means. After a couple of minutes we ditched the headphones and partied to the music that was playing around. Slightly disappointed.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND.. We grabbed a VIP table there and it was a blast, worth every cent. The music was great and awesome acoustics. Security was awesome and very friendly, there was a issue with a guest trying to get in our area and they quickly resolved it.
Denver’s Unique Week of Fashion had a fashion show at the Mirus Gallery apart of the Temple Nightclub. The gallery was beautiful and the staff was so kind! Shout out Jill Smith who was incredibly helpful! The art was very unique, and provided such a beautiful background to the show! I hope more events are hosted here, I would love to go again!
I am truly appalled by my experience last night. Security is so utterly poorly trained that I truly had an unfathomable experience. Last night while I was at the show, a girl continually called me “white boy” and whatever other racist remarks she could come up with she was really drunk and trying to impress her friends. At one point, one girl she was with apologized because she didn’t understand her behavior either. At some point, she decided she didn’t want me there any more, so made a big scene by yelling. Her friends then all started punching and pulling on me, again I’m just beyond confused as to why or what I did, but it proceeds to the then guards pulling me out of the show and outside. As I proceed to explain, they state “yeah, we’ll, you started it” and refused to listen to anything else. To sum this up: spent a bunch of money on this show, harassed by other guests, physically assaulted by other guests, and then dragged out by security???? I figured I would call police to press charges on the people who punched me but just wanted some peace and quiet. Dodge this nightclub with your life, their security is beyond incompetent. Edit: now reading reviews how security NEEDS to ASK you to leave before they put hands on you. Didn’t happen. They drug me out of the show and continue to push me, and never once told me “hey we have to ask you to leave” or anything. Worst club in Denver. Can’t wait to see the joke of a response this review will get, if it even gets one at all.
Im pretty surprised at all the negative reviews for Temple. My boyfriend and I started coming here since the summer very consistently and we have never had a problem. Security always handles situations completely appropriately and a lot of them have been very kind to us. Hands down the best employee there is Jake the bartender. I’ve never seen a faster bartender in my life. He will get through lines in 2 seconds and always is very friendly and makes great drinks. He truly cares about the people he serves and does his job very well. We regularly give him very good tips. We also have a friend who will dj occasionally here and we always get the best service when he’s there to play. The vibes are always the best and the atmosphere is perfect for a night out. Never a bad time at temple!
Loved the vibe of this nightclub, they have a great sound system. The dance floor is quite small and gets very crowded quickly but that happens at all clubs. Great venue!
Was in town for the weekend and had bottle service for 2 friends birthdays. We all loved the music and the vibe - would definitely go back. Staff and bottle girls were attentive. Great time
Horrible nightclub. They profile and discriminate. My friend paid good money for a VIP table, and because he has a physical disability causing his nose to permanently bleed he was kicked out. But only after they got his money for the table. Our other friend kicked out for “going to the bathroom too many times”. One look and you’ll see it’s profiling. Truly awful people.
What actually happened at the GEsay concert! You guys hired a FAKE! I want my money back! I usually love to come to Temple. But that was absolutely terrible! I saw G Easy in Vegas earlier this year, and there is no way that weirdo was anything close!
