We were assigned to this service by a physician following a hip replacement. We have been trying to contact them for six days, during which time the company’s phone was answered once. The result of that call was a home visit by two women who came, not to work, but to tell us that they were “organizing” workers who would be visiting. The services ordered by the surgeon continue to be not provided, and there seems to be no one on duty at the phone number provided by Tendercare. It seems likely that this company exists only to prey on patients, and may warrant a legal investigation. If you are offered home health care by Tendercare, call your physician and your attorney before you waste time talking to the Tender Folk.
