Dr. Young and his staff have excellent service!! I have been a patient of Dr. Young for over 5 years. They are very professional, well trained and always welcoming! Dr. Young offers a variety of services especially on airway focused dental care. In addition, his receptionists are very organized and lets me know ahead in advance when I have an appointment coming up via text message, email etc. They even fit me into their busy schedule immediately when I chipped my tooth. Thank you Dr. Young and staff for taking great care of my teeth! Truly grateful! Also, they are conveniently located in town walking distance from Ala Moana. Lots of parking! His office is clean, organized with a beautiful view!

I have been a patient of Dr. Young since late 2016 and the service and dentistry advice have been nothing but the best. From the recommendations to the superior dental cleanings, Dr. Young and staff are by far some of the best experiences I have had in the dentist seat. Add to that, Dr. Young’s passion, knowledge, and background in explaining mouth breathing and the effects on the teeth and facial structure are amazing. I am a walking testimony of the before and after of the Myobrace system used by an adult in their 40’s who experienced a complete realignment of the teeth and facial reconstruction from a simple and cost effective Myobrace teeth alignment system. I was having dinner and bit on something hard. A wave of electric pain shot through my jaw. I spoke to Dr Young that Friday, and he told me to come in next day, on a Saturday morning. He x-rayed and found the tooth had split. He took a 3-d video of the broken tooth, then drilled it out. No pain at all and I was prepared for the worst. He sent the video to a computer controlled robot who carved a new tooth in 15 minutes. He then glued the new tooth into the hole where the cracked tooth had been. I spent over 4 hours at his office that Saturday morning. Went in not knowing what was wrong. Came out with a new tooth. No pain now at all. I’ve never experienced anyone who cares as much, and who places so much effort and expertise into his patients. He’s a genius and I’m fortunate to have met him. He’s a gift to the patients of Hawaii. Amazing

Dr. Young and his staff are excellent! Most gentle cleaning I have ever had but very thorough. Also got whitening treatment same day as cleaning and my teeth look great! Dr. Young is also very thorough and doesn't rush. He went over my x-rays and explained areas for concern and detailed treatments.

Dr Young, Michelle, Brandon and the entire team are very knowledgeable and kind. We started seeing Dr Young to address the kiddo's sleep apnea it seemed better than a tonsilectomy. We're on tray 2 and the upper palate seems to be expanding that was the plan and wearing the myobrace trainers has helped with mouth breathing, grinding teeth, tongue placement and overall straighter teeth. So far, so good!

I have been a patient of Dr. Young’s for several years.  I’m in the Air Force Reserves and before being deployed, I was required to get a dental clearance.  I thought I had been taking good care of my teeth but…..  I required so much dental treatment, including a root canal.  While Dr. Young did not do the root canal himself, he referred me to the kindest Endodontist, Dr. Paulo Nogueira, who not only got me in THE SAME DAY but the entire procedure was painless.  Dr. Young fit me into many different available time slots to enable me to get all of my work done before deployment which included a crown for the tooth that required the root canal.  My teeth look amazing because the work Dr. Young does is outstanding and his commitment to quality work is very apparent.  His staff have always made me feel like I am special and an important part of their dental office.  Thank you, Dr. Young, for my winning smile and for accepting my dental insurance through the military.  I am so grateful to you and your wonderful staff!

I was diagnosed with sleep apnea after testing at the hospital. But I was not able to adjust to the CPAP. My doctor then told me about the alternative which was the MAD. I would have to see a dentist. I thought that might work for me. He referred me to Dr. Young. I am so happy he did. Dr. Young is so kind and caring. He explains everything from the beginning. I was comfortable with him from the get go. The braces have helped me so much that my anxiety problems are almost gone. Chest pain have disappeared. I feel like a normal person. Also, the girls in the front greet you when you enter and wish you well when you leave. Thank you, Dr. Young

Love the ocean views while sitting in the chair. Dr. Young is knowledgeable, experienced, and reassuring. He is up on all the latest technology in dentistry. My experience is always gentle and pain free. Best dentist I have had so far in my life...

Dr Young's clinic is located in the Ala Moana Medical Building. It is a very convenient location in the center of Honolulu with plenty of parking at the mall. You can access the building either from the 1st floor, by the Bank if Hawaii, or from the Mall's second floor building's third across from Genki Sushi, or mall third floor Building fourth through a little walk away in the north east corner of the parking lot. The clinic is much bigger on the inside than it would seem to be. It occupies the entire corner of the building with breathtaking view of the ocean. I have never, ever been at the dental clinic with the view! I love how open it was, with plenty of light, and a very inviting modern look to it. The staff is super nice. My dental hygienist, Alice was awesome. She was very friendly, gentle, and she explained everything that she was doing. She was also very thorough in her work. She informed me that I am missing one of my teeth; no one in my entire life told me that I am missing one! I had to come to Dr Young's clinic to find out that I have been missing a tooth all my life, lol. Dr Young also specializes in airway focused dental care. I don't know if any other dentists have the same holistic approach to dental care, but Dr. Young definitely is an expert. He explained to me how my sleeping disorder cause me to grind my teeth at night, which caused all my dental issues. He explained that wearing a night guard is a bandaid and doesn't solve the problem, just treats the symptoms. He was also very thorough in his dental examination, and pointed out a couple problems that my previous dentist did not mention. Thank you Dr Young, and I will see you soon. Thank you Dr young for caring for my families Dental needs and your work with keeping my air passedge open at night . My snoring was so Bad my wife and girls Says it was as if I was gasping for air at times and I would have long abnormal periods where I would stop breathing. Needless to say, with the device that you personally fitted me with my family says the snoring has stopped and I breathe more freely I also feel more rested when I awake in the morning. Mahalo for coming to the Big Island to service our needs and giving us more doctors to choose from. You are truly a pioneer in your field.
