Great spot in Portland for authentic tacos /Mexican. We ate in; the service was great and our food arrived quickly. The menu has plenty to pick from, and is reasonably priced for what you get. The food was super flavourful and the ingredients were fresh. Easy location for parking too. This place definitely gets a “recommend” from me!

My wife and I have become huge fans of this undiscovered gem. Nearly everything we have had here has been uniquely excellent, head and shoulders above other Mexican restaurants. Every dish is a recipe perfected, with quality signature coarse chopped ingredients attractively plated. This is easily some of the best food in the city and they would get press if they were a little more pretentious.

Delicious Mexican food. Excellent service. They have a wide variety of items on the menu and everything we tried was spot on! The salsas are delicious and each one is unique.

Delicious burritos! You’ve got to try the enchilada burrito. Friendly, attentive staff with a nice happy hour with fish bowl margaritas. Nice patio in nice sunny weather.

Hands down the BEST carne asada I've had in the Northwest... period! One word comes to mind...umame! Everything was seasoned PERFECTLY! The meat was super tender, the onions were delicious, the guac was fresh and amazing! I also got a michelada and it's the best michelada in Portland. They make their own mix, and use a crazy strawberry syrup concoction which blew me away with taste!! Love this place, highly recommend it and I'll definitely be back! Also as a sidenote but not meant to be last....the service here was phenomenal!!!

Easily one of my top 3 Hispanic spots in the city. I'm picky about my guac,most of the time it tastes like avocado with onions for crunch. Patas Chunky Guac is well seasoned with lots of citrus and fresh pico. Not sure why I never try this place but I’m happy I’m late then never !! Drink was summery & delicious reminds me of Cancun vacation . Taco was acutely great not salty like most other place and didn’t leave me feeling like it’s nap time. Thanks will be back for sure .

i have never been more in love with an experience in Portland and i have been here for 26 years. best food. best michelada. best service. thank you for existing, pig patas!! and for being EXACTLY who you are.

Yummy! My boyfriend and I came here for dinner. He got the 3 crunchy tacos for around $5, and I got the chicken taco salad for $11. The tacos were so crunchy and flavorful. My taco salad was amazing, and huge! Could definitely share it. The chicken was very very moist and flavorful. I also got a side of their house made ranch, which was outstanding because it was light and had lime in it. The horchata was delicious as well! The girl that was taking the orders was so nice and answered all questions we had and was always making sure we were good. The only thing I have to complain about was that they let a methed out couple in, who were clearly high and making us uncomfortable and other guest by being loud and sketchy. In my opinion they should have refused service or told them to leave because it was making everyone super uncomfortable in that situation when we were just trying to enjoy our meal. This issue would refrain me from eating there again, but take out is always an option because the food was outstanding.

Big plates, reasonable prices, fast and friendly service. I ordered the enchiladas but the red sauce was very bland, the meat had good flavor, though. They do have multiple options for salsa. My friend said the red had great flavor and was smokey. The chunky guac was awesome. Everyone else with us really liked their food. Pay with cash, save yourself the credit card fee. We're excited to go back and try something else. The meat on the spit looked amazing.
