Tess Leeds Redesign

We've hired Tess Leeds Redesign twice - once to redesign our huge, dark family room and again to redesign our front hall/laundry area/bathroom. Each time, she has been uber-professional - she asked a lot of questions and helped me learn what styles I liked. Then, she patiently walked me through the process of redesigning my spaces, gave pictures of what they would look like & even provided step-by-step instructions to make the redesign happen. I will hire her again when we're ready to tackle the next problem area of our home. Each space could really be in a magazine, it's that beautiful when Tess is done with it. I VERY highly recommend her!!!

Tess has helped us with several room redesigns and we can't speak highly enough of her. She has a great eye for color and space, and we have been really happy with the results. As a busy working mom, it was well worth the money which was quite reasonable to have someone help me pick colors, find fabrics, ID good furniture choices, etc. And she's been really responsive and generous with her time in answering follow-up questions. I don't feel like I'm just a job to her -- she's almost as vested as I am in the ultimate outcome.

Tess Leeds is an amazing interior decorator. She is kind, understanding, and uber talented. She listens to what you want and is super creative and flexible to meet your needs in designing something on a budget or high end. I found Tess 5 years ago and we have had a great time decorating my den, living room, dining room/kitchen, son’s infant room, my bedroom, my front porch, my backyard pergola and swimming pool area and my dental office. So many people have given me great comments about how beautiful my office and home are and it’s all thanks to Tess. She is a fantastic designer!

I am so happy with all the ideas and support Tess provided. In a few short hours she helped me pick a paint color for the wall, size and color for chairs, end tables, lamps etc. She came with canvas templates of furniture she could lay on the floor to give us an idea of how big items would be and if they would fit. She provided an idea board via email with links to all the products we chose on line so I could easily access them. She was super responsive to my multiple emails and pictures as I picked out items from HomeSense and HomeGoods, and gave me candid advice. Would highly recommend Tess!

Tess Leeds designed the renovation for our main floor bathroom and consulted on color choices for our kitchen. Her wonderful sense of humor, combined with an astute understanding of color and ability to create a cohesive design, made the process a pure pleasure! We are so happy with the results!

Working with Tess was absolutely the right thing to do for me and my husband. We had been living with our oversized living room for 6 years without being able to figure out how to set it up. We had spent hours at stores and looking around the internet, but no one else seemed to have a room like ours that we could model, and we didn't want to put ourselves at the mercy of a salesperson at any one store. This is how Tess helped us: --she listened to me and my husband and helped reconcile our very different tastes muted versus LOUD. --she knew what size rug/sofa/lamps etc were appropriate for our space, showed us what they would look like, and created a map for us to follow. --she explained the order in which we should purchase the elements so that we wouldn't go wrong with the final look --she made a couple different suggestions for palettes, and how the different pieces would work with each other --she recommended which pieces we should invest it, and where we could go cheaper --she shared the names of reputable workers and specific suggestions for kinds of sofas/chairs that would meet our needs. And then she left it up to us! We are the kind of people who don't want our space to look like an anonymous showroom, so after we had our "map" it took us quite a bit of time before we traveled all around town and agreed on what was beautiful. We couldn't be happier with the outcome.

I was renovating an old farm house and Tess came for a color consult to help me decide of paint colors for the entire cottage. I didn't know where to start. She taught me more about looking at color in that time than I could have believed. A huge weight was lifted off of me. I was delighted. It was worth twice the price!
