I was able to get my car title same day for 5 bucks. Cash only. You need all your documents or you'll be sent away. I needed my i.d. and release of lein letter from bank and got it done super fast once I was called. .. waiting to be called was rough. I sat for about 2 hours waiting on my call. They do walk ins and appt, but appt gets priority. Overall, the wait wasn't that bad and pretty typical of city limit DMVs. Probably the part of the whole experience was PARKING. ZERO available spots, towing enforced all around- next door, the street. It's like musical chairs in the actual parking lot, everyone drives around and around hoping someone leaves right infront of them. Everyone honks at eachother and cuts eachother off to try to get a parking spot. It was literally the worst part. Overall 4/5 stars. Everything got handled accordingly. Lady as desk wasn't rude or anything. I got what I needed done handled. Wait time was pretty normal and expected. PARKING SUCKS.
For once I had a pleasant experience at the DMV. The person at the front entrance was very helpful. I received my ticket number and shortly I was called to window #8 for my title issues. Miss Hamilton was very helpful and knowledgeable which was appreciated very much as I had previous issues getting my title problem resolved. She should be recognized as a "caring" and "knowledgeable" employee. Thank you, Miss Hamilton, I appreciate your assistance!
I recently visited the DMV, and to my surprise, it was nothing like the soul-crushing experience those 90s stand-up comics always joked about. Gone are the days of endless lines, grumpy staff, and bureaucratic nightmares! First, a huge shoutout to Robin and Marcus, who deserve a standing ovation for their stellar service. Robin greeted me with a smile that could light up a room, and Marcus had the patience of a saint, guiding me through the paperwork with ease. Their professionalism and friendly demeanor turned what was once a dreaded chore into a surprisingly pleasant outing. I didn’t encounter any “take a number and wait for eternity” scenarios. The process was smooth, efficient, and dare I say it, almost enjoyable. It’s clear the DMV has come a long way from being the punchline of every comedian’s set. So, if you haven’t been in a while, go meet the new DMV—where Robin, Marcus, and the team are rewriting the script on service excellence!
4 hours and counting this is so disrespectful. Now after waiting for 4 hours and 30 minutes. The B…. Lady in window 6 after she took 2 persons without tickets and handed her money, did not listen to my questions when I ask her if it was only credit , not once but twice and guess what she lock my account and said you have to wait 1 more hour to unlock my IRP account. I lost it. She send me to a “supervisor “ He try to help me but told me he is not the manager of the office , He said come back to me in 1 hour I will help you. So I had to wait. From 10:15 am to 4 PM. Because she was not doing her job correctly. I know I should have read what they had on the little paper. But I ask twice not once. She should have listened to what I was asking her. That is why when you ask people why they detest most b…. people here is one of the reasons. She has a good job and is representing the United States of America. What a shame. And what is sad about it is even though I spoke with the “supervisor “ of what she was doing not even the real manager of the office came out. It was so disrespectful not only to me but to all others citizens that where waiting on the lobby as well. Hope God will forgive her. Most likely this complaint will not be looked at. But if from some reason it does , hope the office hire more respectful and decent persons.
I called they said they're accepting walk-ins and appointments so I drove all the way from Austin Texas just for no one to be in the office... I'm glad to see our tax dollars are being used for nothing... I'm sure there is at least one employee who can update their Google page just so it's not an inconvenience on the people who actually pay their salary... I guess when it comes to the US government mutual respect does not exist
Great service inside, outside is a different story! Not enough parking and unless you work there or the surety bond place you will get a ticket for parking on the street! I will be taking my evidence to court to report that Officer A. Evans only tickets vehicles that dont belong to the people working there! If there is more seating than parking at a government building something needs to be done to accomodate that! Sounds and looks like a monopoly scheme to me! And if we get a ticket so should they!!!
Let me tell you why I’m giving it a one star because the little worker behind window number eight had to have been the most miserable person I have ever come across my entire entire life literally almost ruined my day sour face bad attitude at 10:30 in the morning no one has time for that. I stayed cordial I stayed polite. I got out of there went to my car said a little prayer for her. Nasty nasty attitude look was stank face voice was very monotone snagging papers and talking like someone is stupid and doesn’t understand… I will mail in my request for my title next time. Like seriously she should not be around people in that self misery. God Bless her… other than that horrible experience if you have an appointment, you can be in and out within 15 minutes and the rest of the staff or nowhere near as bad as window number eight
Worst service Ever. A line out the door at the office, no way to make appointments. Last week I waited three hours only to be told a simple form had expired the day before. 24 windows for customer service, only 5 people working at any one time, Lunch Breaks start at 11 AM, so 5 goes down to 2 or 3 serving a crowed office. Each customer service representative spends about 15 minutes trying to explain instructions to Non-English speakers. I heard an employee suggest the customer go to another office, in Austin or Beaumont. HOUSTON, TEXAS one of the largest cities in country, this is unacceptable.
This place is so inconsiderate of there customers standing in line for hours. I happened to come on a very hot even and decided to wait outside and order food the door dasher went inside with my order and handed it to one of the workers and she decided to keep it for her self. That is considered theft people. I’ve never seen seen such a mess of a place. They book you for an appointment past 3 but won’t let you in. It’s always packed and there is NEVER PARKING The employees are always judging those who don’t fully understand English.
24 windows, but only 6 windows in service. the aleass over 100s customers waiting in line. I'm checking 9:07am, but till 10:07 am I haven't see my number pop up in screen, not even first character pop up. the staff's is not doing their job properly.
