The packed restaurant should speak for its self. The bread they bring to the table was great, the salad was great, love theirs fried pickles We had shrimp and steak. The shrimp, not only tasted great but were huge. The steak was perfectly cooked. BBQ pork was not the best “for me” but that’s what you get when you should have gotten a steak Staff great and nice, ours waitress Megan costumer service skills are obsoletely outstanding, Can’t wait to go back!!!!
Can not help but feel they are ripping people off. I am pregnant and been craving steak. So I have ordered quite a bit from here in the recent months. I have started to notice the steaks do not seem to be the weight I paid for. So today I finally decided to weigh mine before eating and sure enough less than what I purchased. Wonder how many times I’ve been ripped off.
Well what can I say, but Yee haw! lol :- They know exactly how to make your food taste Amazing! Steaks are what they specialize in, but their salmon is very good as that is what I got to enjoy...yum factor oh yeah! My friend that was with me enjoyed one of the steaks.Food: 5/5
Service was a bit spotty, did the mobile check in and we got the message to come in to be seated and still got stuck in the back of the line. Wouldn't of been an issue but the hostess was very rude about it and we watched others come in doing the mobile check in and get seated immediately. Waitress was good but kept forgetting to bring the stuff we ordered
Great place for a great steak! Usually a noisy restraunt with at least 1 to 2 birthdays everytime I visit. So be expecting to hear alot of YEHAWS! Been visiting for years and never had a bad experience. Just typing this is making me want to go back there now I'm hungryFood: 5/5
Wonderful steaks, chicken burgers, and the fixings. One of my personal favorites is the chicken fried steak and baked sweet potatoes. The fried onion appetizer is great. Tonight had the pork chops. So often these are dry, but at Texas Roadhouse it was juicy. Wife and daughter had the sirloin. Both were great.
My favorite place for steaks. Steaks are cooked as requested and quality flavor. Staff is always up beat and tries their best to keep up with maximum capacity crowds most nights.Food: 5/5
It was packed on father's day, so I made a reservation on the app. I was seated withing 5 minutes of my scheduled arrival time. Service was awesome, even with every table full. Don't order an app unless you are starving because you either won't finish it or your meal.
This place is definitely, best bang for your buck! We called a table in 20 minutes ahead because of the time of day, knowing it would be busy. Got there after shopping and got seated quick. Get you some fried pickles with both sauces and snack on bread and butter . Ordered margaritas/food. I got the biggest sirloin steak med/rare and it was so good with the added mushrooms. If I had a gripe it would be that there isn't a couple more in the area because of how full the place is all the time. Service can sometimes get backed up too but it's obviously because of it being packed. Still fast, friendly and very excellent value. Will be back a lot lol..
The overall rating is based on our experience at this particular location as a whole. The service was fair for a very casual restaurant. Initial interaction with the host staff for seating could have been better. Maybe have more of a welcoming attitude rather than an annoyed one. Our server was nice and did get our drinks, bread and appetizers out right away. Overall, since their section wasn't busy, they could have been a little more attentive on refills and other items, but still did a good job. Other than the bread, butter and salads, the rest of the food was very underwhelming. Way too much salt on the food. It's like the lid on the salt shaker fell off when they were making our food. I am a person that doesn't really taste salt unless it's a lot and this was a lot, as we all agreed it was an issue with our entrees. The cook on the steaks was also not cooked as ordered, so that was another issue. For a steak place you'd expect that's something they can do fairly well at, especially when the restaurant wasn't busy, so it's not like the kitchen was going crazy pushing out tickets. Veggies were old and soggy, so those are something that will be ordered in the future. Actually, I will add another positive for an item. We got the mushrooms and they were good. We've been here many times before and the food was better, so hopefully this is just a one-off experience, and next time we visit I'm hoping it goes better. If so, I'll adjust my feedback accordingly. So, if you feel like having some food and don't mind the $20-$30 for a decent meal try this place, but based on our most recent experience don't expect to be overly impressed. The meals me think that they are comparable to a steak at Village Inn or Perkins. On a positive note, it's food, and someone else is cooking and doing the dishes. Really only giving the 3 Stars is because our kids liked the decor and experience there and seeing all the Texas themed items. Parking: The parking lot gets full quickly around dinner time, but there is overflow parking right across the street in the Hy-Vee parking lot.
