Ordered the drunken noodle lvl 2 spice with pork and it was worth it!! My boyfriend got the same but with chicken and lvl 5 spice, and we were excited to see that they had different flavors but were still good. The owner was also very sweet and funny :
Fresh and authentic Thai food! Their spring rolls and drunken noodles are really good the homemade ice cream is also very good 10/10, lychee was my favorite
What an amazing culinary discovery! We visited here with my sister and her family and have to say that this is probably the best Thai food in Baltimore! No kidding! We enjoy all sorts of Asian cuisine and especially Thai. I can say that the food here was on par with some of the best Thai restaurants we have eaten at. The restaurant has been here since 1981, and the walls are covered with Best Thai Restaurant awards from various local publications. All are well deserved! From the warm welcome at the beginning, to the excellent and attentive service, to the fresh ingredients and excellent preparation, everything was exceptional! There are many vegetarian and vegan options, as well as excellent choices for meat dishes. We started with the papaya salad, which was fresh, crunchy, and served with a delicate sauce that made the flavors pop! I then had the Basil and Green Peas, which had such a flavorful chili paste, it had me cleaning the plate with some white rice to get the last of it. The rest of our party had a variety of curry, vegetable, and noodle dishes. Everyone loved their selections and we left behind only clean plates! The portions were of good size but not too large or too small. My next visit to Baltimore will definitely have me coming by again. Vegetarian options: Most dishes can be prepared vegetarian, just ask!
If this thai restaurant is to appeal to the white community say so. I have never spent $53 nad been so disappointed in my life. The rice was swwt , the tom yum clear no flavor, ginger chicken ?! Where?! I was not happy at all!!
This place was delicious. I got the beef green curry and my friend got the fried tofu. It was filling and the flavor had depth. Will definitely come back to try other dishes. And the older man who waited on us was so pleasant!!
Absolutely wonderful! The food, the atmosphere, the service … all wonderful. We went for lunch and ordered the spring rolls, dumplings, Karie Rice, Pad See Ew and Chili and they were all perfectly made. The flavors were great, the meat wasn’t overdone, it couldn’t have been better! We ordered mango sticky rice and the custard and both were mouthwatering! This place is a must try. Don’t miss out!
Excellent Thai fare. The drunken rice was delicious. You can tell the owner is a bit on edge with their shopfront being located on Greenmount, but otherwise they give very friendly and polite service. The chef has been with them for decades and the quality of preparation and ingredients is stellar.
This is a cozy place to have a great thai dish. The guy who takes your order is very respectful and understanding and he helped me place my order. He gave me various toppings options to consider to put on my meal. Thai Restaurant can be a bit pricey, but its worth every penny.
Last minute find and a great one. We had a fabulous dinner with many appetizers , honey duck and my favorite pork fried rice. Outstanding !! If you love Thai a must!!
Update: another road trip and we stopped to get our favorite Thai food. Thankfully nothing about my previous review has changed. Still the greatest The best Thai period. We have driven from States away to eat here. Food is very good, authentic and the servers are nice.
