Larger marina in a Marina area of New London. Very happy slip renters and slip owners beginning to arrive for summer. Very very nice club area with TV common area, kitchen, CLEAN, well stocked BIG women's bathroom. Nice landscape maintenance. Areas to repair, clean, paint your watercraft. Water faucet, electricity, storage bin for boaters convenience. Big grills for use. Need help with your boat? Just ask folks! A bit of annoying wakes from all those ferries. Close to local attractions. Highly recommended.

General Manager Jen Chiappone wrote 'Islam: Translation = Mental Illness' on her Facebook in multiple places. I bet she'll still take their money. Think she knows Christianity and Islam are both Abrahamic Religions?

We've been to Thamesport several times. We enjoy the convenience of being so near to the mouth of the Thames River, whether we're fishing the Race or Fisher's Island, or cruising the coast, or on the way to Block Island. Great fuel price, pet-friendly, choice of eateries near the top of the dock and down the road. Very friendly bait and tackle shop run by Diane, who'll put up a pot of coffee if you want to talk about what's biting and where to fish. Reasonable rates, too!

I don't usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to say a few words about Thamesport. It's a really nice marina with a first-class staff. Location couldn't be better and the rates are very competitive. I don't spend that much time on the waters this far north, but next time I'm on the LI sound, it should be my first stop.
