Food was good. But the menu said I was getting a ten inch berreto and I got a five inch berreto.
Don't come here expecting Mexican or Hispanic food. The food was like a Midwestern mom's version of "Mexican." The margaritas were just tequila and mixer and they were the best thing on the table. The $5 burritos taste like straight barbecue sauce and liquid smoke. Not even the slight spicy barbecue taste of adobo pepper sauce. Just store brand barbecue sauce! The service wasn't much better than the food. Our server avoided eye contact, wouldn't even glance at us walking by. Would definitely not recommend!
My friends and I were looking for something different to do, so we tried this place for their karaoke night. We ordered drinks before heading back to where they were doing the karaoke, and it literally took 20 minutes for my friend and I to order drinks because the bartenders were SO SLOW and completely ignoring us. There were maybe 7 people at the bar with 3 bar tenders. It seemed like they didn't really care when or even if we got drinks. I got a peach margarita which was way too sweet and almost undrinkable. The karaoke scene in the back was O.K. The food was mediocre. Not a place I would come to again unfortunately.
The food is good and the service is good. We got a Groupon offer and a party of six and we were still treated as if we didn't have one. Their salsa and house margaritas are amazing. The only thing I would update are the locks on the bathroom doors.
Nothing fancy like, at all but karaoke is always fun. When that's not happening, the front has a very nice bar to sit at. Service has been, in my past experience, a bit spotty but that actually worked in my favor once so it's hard to complain. The food has just been OK. If you're hungry, there are other places to go. If you want to have a fun karaoke night or just have a nice neighborhood bar experience, you should definitely check out Adobe.
Great place, nice atmosphere, good food, service was quick.
Every time I go to Adobe it's a fun time. They don't charge a cover for their karaoke and it's always fun. Their karaoke DJ is really cool. They have great deals on drinks too. $5.50 for a shot of tequila with a Teacate beer and a slice of lime on top. They also have delicious margaritas. This place is always a hot spot and crowded, but it's a cool crowd so it's chill. Sometimes they host special events upstairs too!
Best Spot for Karaoke for on Saturday in Philly. Came here Saturday night with some friends for Karaoke, didn't want to go to Yakitori Boy or Tango cause they're usually crowded. I had a great time and want to go back. Drinks are affordable, Skip the food if you can eat before you go. If you want to do Karaoke get there early between 10-11 so you get a chance to sing and get a table, and be prepared to be in the spotlight
This place used to be good. Ive lived more or less across the street from Adobe for going on 6 years and it has been consistently decent up until a couple months ago when they changed owners. A few of the old staff stuck around but its mostly new faces. My most recent visit was horrid and i probably wont be going back. It was fairly busy and the only server seemed frustrated, but there wasnt enough going on for the service to be as slow as it was. I can only really assume that the kitchen wasnt doing so well. All we ordered were appetizers and it took almost 1 hour for the food to come out. When it finally did it wasnt the server who brought it but someone from the kitchen whos name I think was Bear. 1 item was wrong, all of the food was cold and soggy like it had been sitting for a while and the server completely ignored us from that point on. Shortly after we were served, some of the loudest karaoke ive ever heard started and drowned out the dining area. We tried to finish up quickly and get my child out since the volume of the music was bothering him but it took an additional 10 minutes, no exaggeration, to get the server's attention and get the check. The whole experience was pretty awful and made me miss the previous management. I truely hope these new guys can get it together and get Adobe running right again, because it used to be a great hangout. Note that the only reason I didnt give them a 1 star rating was because Anya was working at the bar and she is always a delight.
This is a place I go to for the pitchers and karaoke. Drinks aren't too expensive and there's karaoke twice a week Fridays and Saturdays, which can get really busy. Margaritas are made from mix, FYI, but you can get a pitcher of that too. Foosball is near the bathrooms if karaoke isn't your thing. If I am eating there, I get a quesadilla or the steak tips appetizer - both really consistent. There are vegetarian and vegan options here, too. Service is just ok - and it can be a little slow if it's busy.
