The Alhambra Ballroom

Lovely place!!! Their catering was awesome! They made my friend 50th Birthday Celebration the best.

I visited the Alhambra Ballroom to attend a church service with The Gathering Harlem. When we arrived, we went in through the doors to the lobby. The lobby had a directory posted with the different floors. There are 2 elevators. The particular room we were in was quite big. It was carpeted floors with a wooden dance floor in the middle. The restroom was accessible either through the ballroom or the lobby on that floor. However, I notice both entryways, there were steps to get to the restroom. I’m unsure whether there was another accessible restroom on that floor. I must say after sitting a while the chairs weren’t too comfortable. The Alhambra Ballroom rents out for events. This location is accessible via public transportation.

I attended Radio WBLS DJ Fernandez and DJ Tall Guy Dwayne Stanton's dance party just last night and I must say with a few imperfections that ballroom is decent! Nonetheless, with tweaking organization regarding having an accommodating receiving area with ticket booths including seating for waiting time during huge events, a bigger coat area with three-person coat checkers for huge crowds and the overall central air in the ballroom space, that venue would be all of 5 stars!

Not well. Seats designated for table payees. No seats for others. Took chairs from tables. Forced coat checks. Drinks 150% markup. 3 drinks for $42 dollars and only had Bacardi and ice slit pour in 8oz plastic cup.. Bottle water Poland Springs $3.00 a bottle.

Had a great time at the Rhythm Revue Dance Party there. Need a bar in the balcony area.

Beautiful space for my cousins as they celebrate their 50th. Would definitely use this place for future events!

Excellent place to have any type of event. The staff was accommodating. The food was excellent.

Attended a birthday celebration and was impressed by the make over, upgraded 6th floor and lobby, modern, clean, and tastefully appointed; the food could be improved, the bland almost rubber chicken reminescent of hotel styled food. Yet, the wait staff were attentive and professional.

DO NOT BOOK HERE I REPEAT DO NOT BOOK HERE !!! THE LADY CHARGE YOU PER PERSON WHICH IS STUPID AND THEY SUPPLY THE FOOD . YOU CAN NOT GET NO CATERED FOOD… WASTE OF TIME
