They lie about the inmates they are holding so that they make money of them staying there. No one answers the phone and the conditions Inside are just disgusting looks like a breeding ground for COVID-19. We need to call OSHA cause enough is enough. They got the same dust on the walls from last year. Zero maintenance. Workers there can't do there Job. They need to be shut down and relocated because who needs this negative environment in our beautiful Downtown Detroit.

Got an apartment here for 5 years. Free rent electricity and water& also free food. Good place to stay and spend some alone time for sure, watch out for BIGBUBBA at night

Worst Jail In The US, They Don't Answer The Phone At All, Lazy Correctional Officers Don't Do Nothing But Sit Around And Flirt With Nurses & Other Staff, They Barely Sanitize The Cells , & It's Overcrowded. My Son Was Locked Up Here For 3 Months With No Sign Of A Court Date They Flat Out Violating People's Constitutional Rights

My boy Matt had an apartment here for about 5 years. Very low rent, free meals and great security for being in Detroit. Can be loud at times, but otherwise great deal from what I hear. Kind of an odd name for an apartment complex though. Doesn't seem like it would market well, but I could be wrong. Anyone know if these apartments are pet friendly by chance? Let me know. Thanks!

Hit or miss with the staff, but overall the place is a joke, nobody ever answers, most of the time who ever answers has an attitude and the things that go on in side the jail definitely needs to be investigated

No one answers the phone at any jail,They are so lazy, pitiful law enforcement

The father of my grandchildren have been in there for over a week and has yet to be given a wash cloth, towel, tooth brush, or anything for hygiene. When the guards are mad or in a "mood" they turn the heat off, turn the air on, people are getting sick. They are playing with peoples lives in there and no one is doing anything about it. We all know that jail is a modern day plantation but what gives you the right to treat people like animals. They way this place is run makes the people who are incarcerated more humane than the staff. This facility really needs to be looked in to. If this is how they treat the inmates, what makes them any better? NOTHING!!!

Netflix needs to come do a documentary on this jail. Starting off with the receptionist who PURPOSELY let the phones ring. Staff feel so empowered ruining someone else’s life when they’re the most vulnerable, it’s so much regulations not being met here.

Have a friend there and can’t call can’t visit cause of COVID it’s 7/12/22 it’s a non mask mandate and the whole world Is open ! Ridiculous

Haven't heard a word from my son because of the phone. Never got a phone call at all. His crime isn't even that big. He can quarantine at freaking home. Wayne County Jail has really gone down since the 90's. Just to think I wanted to be an officer.
