The Barberette

Took my kids 8 and 14 here for long overdue haircuts. Really cool place with friendly stylists. Erica was awesome with my boys and was able to get them both ready for Xmas photos. I would definitely recommend this place for any age guy looking for a great professional haircut. The prices were great also.

The Barberette is truly the best place to be when getting a haircut in Kansas City! I have been coming here for close to 4 years now and have never had a bad experience, both the staff and owner are incredible and always so kind. You will be greeted with a cold drink and have never had a bad conversation while at the chair.

Since moving to KC from the west coast I have been to countless barber shops and I've gotta say this is the only one worth leaving a review for. Other than the immaculate cuts, it's a dang cozy spot. I never feel rushed and the conversations just glide. I've gone to Breann twice now and already know she'll be cutting my hair for years to come. The big sofa and warm coffee are a great precursor to a good cut. There's also something about being at a barber shop that isn't shrouded with machismo and instead a very comforting atmosphere. I can't wait for my next cut; It's well worth the money and I have no negatives to harp on about.

The barber worked with me to see what I wanted, and if they had everything they needed for my particular haircut. Excellent price for such a good customer experience. I love my haircut! It is exactly what I wanted.

This place fellas is the spot to get your beard cut ,hair cut with a nice atmosphere and something cold to drink while you wait. Appointment needed and the girls are always on time!

Decent haircut, cool interior, and great service, but would be nice not be pressured with a tip after the haircut. Charge what you think your service is worth. A barbershop is not a place for the tipping culture.

Shelby did a great job with my haircut. Probably the best barber treatment I’ve ever had - cut, shampoo, dry, and razor neck shave. Very friendly crew and the shop is well kept and also probably one of the nicest shops I’ve been to. I would recommend booking an appointment on their app a few days out.

Lavyne, the owner, has built a beautiful oasis for men to get high quality grooming services for an extremely fair price. Appointments are made easy by use of the vagaro app, the location is central, and the shop is pleasure to spend time in. Couldn't recommend this place more.
