I have stayed here 3 times and will be returning again. The staff are so friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the location is amazing as it's about a 3 minute walk to a beautiful cove beach that looks more like somewhere in Spain than Wales. They are dog friendly too as is the Driftwood bar and restaurant which is about 20 steps across from the rooms and serves amazing food. I will definitely be bringing my dog next time. 100% recommend this place.
What a wonderful place! I had a fabulous room which was well appointed with large bed and jacuzzi bath. The room was very clean. Plenty of car parking and easy access to the rooms. Reception is attached to the bar, and Chloe and Anna deserve a special mention for their friendly and attentive customer care. We had booked the conservatory for a reunion of Merchant Navy officers, which had 43 attendees, one of whom was a last minute addition. None of the staff were phased by this, the food service was fast and the food was good. The hotel had also bought in BT sport to allow those wanting to watch the Wales Rugby match. Breakfast was served in a quiet and efficient way. Thank you all for your wonderful service, and I hope to see you again soon. The Motel is also very doggie friendly, something close to my heart. Rooms: Clean and well founded. Nearby activities: Close to the beach. Food & drinks: Good food, great service. Nice, well stocked bar.
We only stayed one night so we could get the morning ferry the next day from Holyhead. The hotel is a bit tired looking. The room was clean, no air con, but we knew that in advance. The food was the major letdown. It was on the expensive side but we were plagued throughout our meal by tiny black flies that landed everywhere and went in our drinks. The worst bit was at the end of the meal. My son pointed at the vinegar bottle and when I tilted it I could see about 20 dead flies at the bottom. I'd used it on my chips and ate them without knowing. I felt a bit queasy after that. Staff seemed nice enough but we won't be back.
Just spent 2 days here and it was fantastic. Staff really friendly and beautiful beach 2 minutes away. Our room was a disabled room and had jacuzzi bath and massive shower. I even drove my mobility scooter into the room as we were on ground floor. Would definitely go again. Beach only 2 minutes down the road. Beautiful location.
It was comfortable, quiet, and good value. We were impressed with the quality, locally-sourced products in the breakfast. The shower has excellent temp and water pressure.Rooms: 5/5

A gem of a spot! The location is perfect as a pitstop, stayed for a night before catching the morning ferry to Dublin. Staff are very friendly, room was clean and comfortable. There's even a little sandy beach/bay a few minutes walk away, perfect spot to watch the sunset after dinner. Will stay again the next time we're sailing from Holyhead!
Looks a bit run down from the outside, but the rooms are good, clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful. We've stayed here several times and will stay again.Rooms: 5/5
