The Berry Ranch

Lovely family owned farm. Kids loved it for pumpkin picking.

We used to bring our three children to the berry Ranch years ago and had a really great time. In those days we went out into the actual pumpkin patches and picked pumpkins. We went out today with our new grandchild and much of the property was overgrown with weeds and some of the outer structures look pretty dilapidated. The so-called pumpkin patch we went to looked like an area where pumpkins were just picked and laid out on the ground surrounded by very tall weeds. While the staff was fine we thought the prices were a bit High and the property could certainly use some work. They don't take any kind of debit or credit cards which I understand but was not listed in very bold font on their website. We probably would have bought more items there if we have been able to use our debit card. all the staff was fine, but they could certainly could let you know more clearly when you are an adult and you're not going to buy a pumpkin you still need to pay $4. We found this out after we had gotten out in the field, lesson learned. They should also have a price list on their website for the pumpkins and the rides. The website could certainly use a lot of work.

This place has become a cesspool. The employees are incredibly rude, the prices have skyrocketed in the past few years. If you are looking to pick pumpkins please go somewhere else. The patch has five to six foot tall weeds covering the majority of the area and the selection is slim, and upon return you are herded like cattle through the tiny store.
