Family fun day was interesting, the kids loved seeing what dad does and just the neat Boeing experience!

They suck. Boeing accreted McDonnell Douglas/Hughes then immediately sold off all the product lines (except 1) that we had developed, worked through test, certification and brought to market. All done with No regard to the customers busness needs. Then when the companies that purchased the products start to turn a profit they turn around and file law suites... They treat the employees like some type of disposable dxie cup. There is no respect for the engineers , product developers and technicians that made the product that has now been branded boeing. Since Boeing has taken over management there has been no succesful new products brought to the line. Unless they bought the design or aquired it through corporate take over they can not come up with a new and improved anything on there own. Our front line aviation platforms are now being built in Korea and japan, then shipped over for assembly. Thanks boeing. There management philosophy has stifled the U.S. aerspace industries ability to contnue to be the leading aerospace designers of aerospce industry. Oh, the shame of these corporate merger maniacs. Thankfully Airbus has has been busy setting up manufacturing plants here the U.S. and are actively developing new leading edge products.

Loved going to family day at Boeing. The day starts off with a wonderful breakfast. Then the tours are so interesting. You get to see what is made there, and some of the procedures that are done. A wonderful place to explore and learn. I loved seeing everything.
