The Boston Language Institute

The TEFL Certificate program is a rigorous one, and there have been times over the last year when I have questioned not only my stamina, but my sanity in enrolling in the first place. But I am glad I did. I have had the honor and privilege to meet and work with other like-minded individuals who care about helping others improve the quality of their lives through language. My fellow classmates, the instructors and staff at BLI, and the ESL students have taught me a great deal about teaching, learning, dedication, generosity of spirit, and the value of hard work well-done. The staff is knowledgeable, experienced, perceptive and intuitive, about the program, its clients and the students it serves. Once you complete this course, you can do anything else in your life you once thought was too difficult. One caveat to consider before enrolling: make sure you don't have too much going on in your life, commitment-wise. This course demands a great deal of time, thought, effort, energy-more than you can imagine. Give this course the attention and focus it deserves and you will be rewarded many times over. It is worth it, and then some.

These people will take your money and not explain ahead of time that there is a pass/fail til after your deposit is non refundable, it is not pedogogical and the staff turnover rate supports a lot of people losing thier deposits. They purposefully set people up to fail, out of about 18 people in my weekend program maybe six completed. I believe a lot of these reviews are fake and purchased. Be careful giving these cult-lime people your hard earned money.

Boston Language Institute has dedicated teachers and trainers that go the extra mile for the students. The curriculum is solid, and the training is very effective! I highly recommend it! This is one of the great original language schools on the East Coast!

TEFL at BLI is a wonderful program! Fantastic curriculum, instructors and lots of great support after hours and after course completion. I learned a ton and I’m feeling confident and prepared to teach out in the real world! I now also have a fantastic portfolio of lesson plans to bring with me in interviews and to use in the classroom.
