The Bowery

The Bowery wow what to say. Known as the home where the group Alabama got started. It's actually like two places in one. The one half is Duffy's bar where it is not nothing special but more like a red neck dive bar. The the other half is the Bowery where house band plays and they serve beer. And when I say beer I mean one kind of beer. They really don't advertise what brand it is. But it was fine and reasonably cheap for the venue. There is a cover charge to get into Bowery and see the band. They were pretty good. Tried to be funny, a lot of times successfully. Country music. Make sure you know it's a country music bar . Pretty sure you have to be over 21 to get in so no kids can come along. Don't know how many days a week they play. But I like to stop during the off season when everything closes early and there still open. Big bonus of the Bowery.

Amazing place!! Live music Monday-Saturday and the house band is incredible! Their house beer is light, great price and tastes wonderful! The staff were incredible and very welcoming. They're on top of everything, making sure you're always satisfied with the experience.

You will hear some of the very best music at the very low cost of $3 at the most and you will want to go back every time you come to Myrtle Beach very good talent. Split shot played Sunday night and we were thoroughly pleased and enjoyed every single bit of it. Can't wait to come back and do it again those guys really knew what the crowd wanted to hear.

We tried ordering three different menu items and they were out of it. Ordered the Chicken Parmesan sandwich and it was so dry. Needed to order more sauce and cheese, then it came out cold and the sandwich was warm. Will not be back again when we come to town many more times during a year. There are so many more restaurants to try.

Justin and copper where very good at there job up front at the bar and they were very nice and had sometime when it wasn’t to busy to talk and joke around with us. The band was amazing and we had lots of fun there. I would recommend to everyone to go there for a date or just to eat there.
