The Cajun Crab

It's good but BEWARE, you aint really getting a pound of shrimp. And when I asked if they can put it on a scale they refused and question me why. But denied weighing it. I would say I probably got half a pound at most. I dont have a scale to measure exact but this ain't my first rodeo. I've ordered 1lb of shrimp from other spots and was atleast double the amount.

Pretty standard boiled seafood place. 4 of us shared combo 1 and an order of Cajun fries, the food is pretty tasty and came out piping hot.

Got 2 pounds shrimp house special beers and tried their michelada. Fair prices and very good food, I would surely come back when in town.

Thought I would try it… ordered peeled shrimp garlic and butter flavor mild Cajun . I received shrimp head and shell in melted butter and garlic no Cajun flavor… I peeled the shrimp and noticed they were NOT de-veined . I pointed it out to the server and she said ,”it is seasoning,” needless to say that was first and second strike…The third strike was they were closing at 8pm and I was still eating at 7:55pm the same server came up to me and said , “we closed now take left overs and go,” I was on my last of the flavorless shrimp and got up and left . Still flavor was off , not cleaned , and don’t listen to what client orders…. Definitely not going back.

Worst experience EVER. Ordered thru Door Dash & although we had a great driver. The food & service were the worst! Our order was shorted. Called and spoke to Susan who was rude from the beginning & insisted she gave us the full order. Then when she finally let me speak she said she understood what we were shorted. I told her her we were sending our Door Dash driver back to get the items shorted. At this point not our whole family would be able to eat together. So some of our family started with what was actually delivered. Food was cold & the 2 potatoes we received were not cooked fully. Cajun fries were drenched in seasoning & were tough to chew. Driver went back & then came back to us with what we thought was the remainder of the order & again we were shorted! By this time the poor driver needed to go. Called again & spoke to RUDE SUSAN who insisted Door Dash cheated them out of money & therefore although we ordered according to the website she did NOT owe us any more food. She was very unprofessional & down right rude. Called Door Dash & was told they have had complaints previously about this establishment. Called Credit Card company & disputed the whole bill. Then...Susan must have realized she messed up & called us 2 hours later to say she misunderstood the order, NOT my fault lady! Told her I called to dispute the charge & now she tells me I'll be responsible for her losing her job. Driver & myself had to experience her rudeness & then she realized she was wrong. Not cool at all. Then she proceeds to tell me to bring the food back, when I laughed at her she said I was being rude. Told her NO NOT BRINGING ANYTHING BACK and so she offered to come pick up the food. REALLY LADY, REALLY?! Charged $88.00 for this order plus fees and tips to not get our full order, get cold and uncooked food and to be treated rudely. Don't recommend this place at all EVER

Customer service is wack. Had a female in the front, she potrays overly nervous, and like she doesn't have a brain. Way overpriced for the food. Shrimp was gummy and tough. Never had that experience. The flavor was weird.... Just not good all around. Will not be coming back. If you enjoy this place, your built Different, and not in a good way lmao.

Very disappointed in the place, not so Good customers. The only seafood place I know that needs to stop before the end of business to clean, when you should do that after your close. It says your open until 8 not 7:30 pm. Just unbelievable. I drove 12 miles to get it and was told I couldn’t. Not only that I called while on my way to order and was told they didn’t take orders over the phone. So, if that’s the case why wouldn’t you also explain to the customer that you stop taking orders at a certain times as a walk- to clean up before your actually off work!! Never again will I try to give them business even at the Long Beach Location! I’ll drive 15 miles to boiling crab for way better service!

The store still had their “open” sign turned on but, they were actually closed. The front counter apologized for the confusion but he still made an exception to order with limited menu, due to the restaurant already being closed. The order was made to perfection AND they were quick. What an awesome experience, and the food was amazing. Usually seafood boils are pretty stingy on their sausages, corn, and potatoes but, The Cajun Crab was the total opposite! Such great portions and again, everything was amazing. Definitely coming back. Thank you so much for the generosity!

A came here several months ago and it was excellent. I returned on September 4th, 2019 and had a different experience. This time the employee possibly the owner Helen provided us with terrible service. I asked for an extra plastic bag and she refused to give us one. I ordered a combo which included 3 lbs of shrimp and 6 preselected sides. I asked if we could switch the sides and she did not like that idea. I wanted different sides, even if we had to pay a little extra and she said I could only get corn. On top of that she only gave us 4 corns instead of the 6 that we originally were supposed to get. After receiving our food she did not come by to see if everything was ok or if we needed anything else. They weren't that busy to say that they were overwhelmed. We will never return since there are so many other restaurants like these all over now. Go somewhere else for good customer service. The food itself was good, that's why they get 2 stars and not just 1.

The food was good but the older woman in front didn't really make us feel welcome. I'm also not a fan of any establishment that limits refills on sodas. This usually makes my decision on whether to return again or not. If I spend $15 on a pound of shrimp I should be able to have a full glass for the entire time I'm eating. Limiting me to a single refill is ridiculous.
