I was shocked at the prices. Some products, especially wine, were almost twice what they are at any other place. A 1L bottle of Sutterhome Chardonnay is typically $9.99-$12.99 max in this area. Here, they charge $18.99. Worth it to travel elsewhere.
Friendly staff. Great variety of craft, local and draught beers, even if the selection is relatively small on a given day. Regular rotation means you'll find something new every week.
It’s rare I have the money to treat myself to the groceries at HT and also to a bottle or two of wine from TCW&B. It’d been so long I’d forgotten the protocol of how to shop in both at the same time. Having anxiety about being a rule breaker I just made two trips but decided to ask TC cashier what the protocol was for next time okay to take in store etc... While obviously educated on vino and a nice person it was clear he was quickly attempting to sweep me away and made me feel like an invalid. I’m not a firm believer of negative reviews and don’t wish to be a salty person but he spoke to me so poorly it consumed my night. I only write this in hopes that he realizes I may look scruffy or dingy but I enjoy wine as much as the girl dressed to take on the town. I had just worked outside all day. You being a presumable snob ruined my night and gave a poor face to your store. I’ll be back tho! And hope to enjoy the selection and atmosphere as tho nothing happened.
Don’t buy beer here. I have been a loyal customer of theirs for a couple years now. Last night I bought an expensive 4pack of beer ~$18 when I tasted it I could tell the beer was very old and had gone off. I went in today to let them know so they would take it off the shelf didn’t ask for a refund and was basically told they didn’t care and wouldn’t be doing anything about it.
If you're shopping at the Federal Hill Harris Teeter, it's worth stopping in. OK craft beer selection, and there's usually some beer or another on sale by the case. I could take or leave wine, but their selection is fair and they do have a wine bar. Either for samples or to deal with Baltimore's bizarre 7-day liquor laws.
Hrs are 6am to midnight, open sundays , Has good sales but no liquor cheaper than some local city wine shops. Just started working there but been shopping there since they opened
Hours are great. Wide beer and wine selection. Prices tend to run a little high but hard to beat the convenience being right next to the grocery.
Really nice inside and while the selection is not as large as other liquor stores, they have very good options. Great location but a little pricey.
Decent selection of beers and wine. Not the biggest place, though, so if you're looking for something very specific you might not have luck. They have events fairly regularly.
Convenient South Baltimore location, greatest hours in town, good beer wine selection, prices higher but probably worth the convenience.
