When physical & mental limits are simultaneously met with success on a climb, the personal gratification is beyond what any other sport can offer. Often, the feeling manifests in an uncontrollable grin and an "ah hah!" moment. This moment is why we climb!

About the company:
Nelson Day, the Lead Guide and owner of The Climbing Life Guides, resides in sunny Joshua Tree, CA. Nelson has been climbing since 2008 and is certified through the AMGA as a Single Pitch Instructor. Nelson's love for teaching and climbing is evident if you have ever climbed with him as a client, or as a partner. Nelson has climbed in Indian Creek, Joshua Tree, Tahquitz, Big Bear (Holcomb Valley), Riverside Quarry, Moore's Wall, Red Rock Canyon, New River Gorge, and various other cragging destinations.

The Climbing Life Guides, Inc. is a business specializing in guided rock climbing experiences tailored to its clients desires. Instruction is available for traditional climbing gear placements, anchor building, lead climbing, and general rock climbing movement efficiency and techniques. Or if you simply want to get out on the rock and have some fun and leave all the technical aspects to us, we will be happy to "show you the ropes".
