Judy C. Coleman has many years of intense litigation experience in the areas of contested probate, estate planning & trusts, bankruptcy. She has also practiced in the areas of divorce, traffic and criminal, auto negligence, large and small personal injury cases, construction law, consumer law, landlord-tenant, and premises liability.

Judy was born and raised in Livonia, Michigan and graduated from Livonia Franklin High School in 1983. During her junior year of high school, she took an experimental class in law that was offered for one semester only. She knew immediately that practicing law was where she belonged.

Judy was a Michigan Merit Scholar who graduated from the University Of Michigan with honors. In 1990, she obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit-Mercy and joined the State Bar of Michigan at that time.

For 20 years, Judy was a Managing Attorney at the UAW-Ford Legal Services Plan, spent 10 years as the head of our bankruptcy department and 5 years as the head of our client service department. During that time, she obtained many favorable verdicts for her clients and successfully argued cases before the Michigan Court Of Appeals.
