I know that there are many who have had an excellent experience with C of I, but unfortunately mine was not so. I toured the college with my high school, and I was very disappointed. The tour guide was very unprofessional and uninformative (he talked about where we should get condoms...) and both an admission representative and an athletic representative told us "we would be stupid not to come here." The coach also complained about recently losing to a rival football team, and talked badly about the rival school. I ended up going to another school because I did not like the unprofessional, negative atmosphere that I experienced. I am not saying C of I is a terrible school, but I definitely think some of these issues should be addressed so that the college can be presented as the top notch school that it actually is.

My daughter graduated this year (2017). Her teachers know her personally and are actively participating in her future. She's received a broad education from a school that is nationally recognized with a superior staff. This was the perfect place for her to grow and spread her wings while enjoying a beautiful campus. What more could you want?

If there were do overs in life I'd go back to school here in a heart beat. Some of the most memorable times with some of the nicest people you could ever meet in life. In a matter of a few weeks you got to know most everyone including the professors. Small class size allowed for more one on one time if needed. 10 day breaks every six weeks allowed for many road trips to new adventures with new friends. Started up their soccer program back in 1985 when enrollment was probably 600+ students from all over the country.

Both my daughters attended C of I and both of them loved it. Can't say enough good things about the professors, the administration and the best track coach in the Pacific Northwest, Pat McCurry. They helped give guidance and courage to two women and helped them through the tough process of finding a place in the world. Amazing college. You can find none better.

The College of Idaho is one of the top private liberal arts colleges in the country, and they deserve it. Small class sizes not only help you learn more efficiently, but the professors are able to give you more individual attention as far as class discussion and assignment feedback. You also get to know your fellow Yotes as your family. When you go to campus events, or even to the cafe, there is hardly a student you don't recognize. The classes that are offered are diverse and intriguing.
Student clubs and organizations are abundant on campus, and there are so many ways to get involved with whatever extracurricular activity you could imagine. From football games to amazing theatrical performances this college truly does have it all. I will always be a proud part of the #YoteFam
